The hard bodies look at themselves, mostly. I do it and I'm not a "hard body."

Dumb Bell Chest and a 4 mile run.

Tim Horton's egg white, turkey sausage on english muffin sandwich and a large decaf with milk and splenda (305 calories out the door). Yeah....I don't really excell and the culinary arts.

I have 2 moments. In the middle of my run when I feel like an unstoppable train. Then again, as I'm stepping out of the shower and think, yeah.....I did it again.

I eat that way on purpose to lose weight.

NO.

You're right. You can from the "frequent" but not the "recent." I have mine default to open up to the "frequent" for the everyday stuff. Sorry I didn't answer OP.

Love 'em! 1 banana, 2 eggs, dash of vanilla, dash of cinnamon. Mash it all together. Pour into hot non-stick pan. Served with reduced calorie maple flavored syrup (2 tbsp) you come in at about 318 cals for the whole shabang.

If you're going according to the MFP system and you've filled out their questionaire, then yes, you can. Whether or not you want to is up to you. I always ate mine back because if I didn't I felt weak throughout my workouts. I lost over 2 lbs a week, just like the program dictates. That's my results, not everyone's.

Not all eggs are created equal.

I tend to go bigger than that. I like cheat events, a vacation, a birthday week, the Christmas break. I make sure I eat everything I've been craving those weeks then it's full "game-on" come Monday morning. Sure, I put on a few pounds. Most of it seems to be water weight because it drops off so quickly but I get back down…

Yeah. I'm sort of a dork. If it goes into my mouth, it's on the dairy. My wife thinks I'm an absolute nut.

35g of cinnamon covered almonds or a banana with a dab of Jif Whips on every bite.

I'm going to guess your boy friend lost alot of water weight and that he's quite a bit heavier than you (by percentage). A pound a week is spot on. I'd stick with the plan and eat back your calories.

Not being vaguely culinary, Tim Horton's Turkey Sausage Sandwich with egg white, cheese and english muffin. 290 calories.

Keep lifting! Build muscle because muscle burn calories. AND watch the calories you're eating. Don't leave out cardio. That's where the real calorie burner is.

A bag of pork rinds. What else?

Body weight loss is really cool but to see the effect on facial features blows me away.

It's got to be water. Mine goes through the roof when I eat some good salty Thai food. It comes off.

Let's see...I had the Lumberjack Slam for breakfast (over 1000 calories) and just ate 2 slices of pizza for lunch. I'm a dirty boy.

While I don't advocate going over the limits on your macros, I am extremely sloppy about them. Over the past 8 months I've placed my focus on calories and burning them through exercise. In 7 months I reached my goal of losing 45 lbs and am now maintaining. I don't have sugar, sodium, blood pressure or cholesterol isuues of…

Not to mention it's great for the booty!

To eat something delicious would be my reason.
-
Okay. That makes sense.

Perhaps both. Going back to the origins of the Atkin's experiment. When the Inuit men ate only caribou meat for weeks they did loose fat but also gained muscle. I don't recall if they "lost weight" per sei. Granted, they were working (exercising) at the time. I know when I lost 50 lbs on the diet I paid absolutely no…

"As far as any real energy balance weight, how well Atkins or any other diet works will be determined by the calorie deficit." I'm not so sure a deficit is needed on the Atkin's diet. In think it's more about ketosis.

Here's a few pointers to get started... Look for the grilled chicken things. Avoid breaded and/or deep fried anything. Thin, brothy soups are pretty good. Salads with vinaigrette dressings are usually okay. Say away from heavy pastas. Pass on big bread sandwiches. If you get a burger or sandwich take one of the breads or…

Not sure if this was directed at me or not. Let me clarify. I feel the MFP plan enables me to eat many more foods than the Atkin's plan does. A plan that I can spend the rest of my life eating. When I'm at a friend's house or out to a restaurant I can easily get to something that works into my program. It's forgiving in…

While I love my real bike and would use it over the elliptical, I would still prefer the elliptical over the stationary bike due to the upper body movement. I love it when my shoulders and/or chest are sore. It warms them right up and relieves the pain. I vote elliptical.

20 lbs in 2 weeks seems awfully fast. While much of that is more than likely water weight I wish both you the best of luck. I lost 50 lbs on Atkins a couple of years ago. I works. However, my wife complained of my "mood swings" and "bad breath." The problem with Atkins was that it wasn't a food program I saw myself using…
