No, the herb dill :) They use it quite a bit in fish recipes...green long thin leaves. http://www.bonappetit.com/tipstools/ingredients/2008/07/dill

I agree with Misty: I like to go to peoples diary's and get ideas...especially from people who have been successful. Most of the points disagreeing with you were more on the lines of "too each there own" and "they can do whatever works for them"...which is true to an extent, but being on this website members should learn…

Nope not at all...but if you want, you can make it spicy...just add crushed red-peppers or cayenne pepper in with the rice/pea/meat mix :)

Sounds yummy! Is there a way we can increase the protein in this? Might be good to have for a post-workout breakfast :) Thanks for sharing!!

Mine is so unoriginal! It's just what I do for a living...lol!

My 2-cents for what it's worth is to do whatever works for your schedule....don't commit to doing an early morning workout if you are not an early morning person! I personally do early morning, but only because my gym closes before I get home from work so i don't have much of a choice. One thing I do like about the morning…

Sounds great. I will have to give this a try! Thanks for sharing!

Yum! Adding pears to my grocery list. Thanks for sharing!

I workout in the mornings and I can't eat before I do...for some reason I feel a bit nauseous. But after my workout I have usually have a yogurt or a protein shake, every other day I have oatmeal made with soymilk just to keep it interesting. Yogurt is easy to take to work with you, so are protein shakes :)

are you using a digital scale? If so, it might be time to change the batteries. My scales were off by 2-3lbs for 2 weeks (i knew bc of the scale at the doc. office), but as soon as I changed the battery it showed me that I had lost weight....just an alternative thought to throw out there :)

wow what a difference! I can most tell around your face/neck and around the tummy. Good work, keep it up!! :)

You can try to make a quiche with the ham and some vegetables.

I think everyone here reached the same consensus...only count deliberate exercise! Thanks everyone!! :)

There is a persian soup that calls for lentils that is absolutely yummy: http://www.foodfit.com/recipes/recipe.asp?rid=789 I also just throw lentils into a crockpot with some lean lamb stew meat, 2 sprigs of rosemary, 3 gloves of garlic, cover with chicken stock and let it cook for 12 hours. I like to take the meat out…

Hello and Welcome! We have the same SW! :)

I want to lose about 35-40lbs by April...but realistically, it will probably be by the end of summer :)

I would believe it if it was my dad who inputed that data. The guy can literally spend 5 hours in the yard ripping trees from their bare roots with his hands....worst part is the clean up (which my sisters and I would have to do...ew spiders/insects galore!). Like someone else said, if you feel like that it is an…

Hey! I am very empathetic to your issue. I have had knee surgery (on the same knee) 3 times! So coming from someone who is very careful and guarded about the types of movements and stress I put it through I will definately recommend the elliptical and bike. I hop on the treadmill too, but I never run, just because of the…

Maybe you can make your own? Use Almond milk, almonds, some frozen and fresh berries, banana and a tbsp (or 2) of peanut butter.

After my morning workouts I either have oatmeal with soy milk, or muscle milk (light)...I don't start my day until around 9 or 10, so by 1 or 2pm I am ready for lunch.

Amazing! Proud of you lady :) You have done a fantastic job...remember to put your health/body/mind first, and everyone and everything will be affected by the positive change.

I don't know much about the program, except that it is quite intense...let me know how it goes for you. I am too scared to start something that I have been told is really rigorous. Good Luck!!

Thank you  I wish I had found MFP earlier, but I am so thankful that I have it now...everyone on here is so friendly and so supportive. We are all here for the same reasons basically, and it really does make a difference in your success knowing that you have people supporting you and who can also call you out when…

Ha! My bf is actually not so happy that I am losing my curves. Things that I am happy to brag about... For one, I am working out! I had a gym membership for about 8 months and literally only used it 3 times. How sad is that. This month I started going to the gym, and now I am on this constant endorphin high...I count the…

yay! Keep up the good work!

Hi & Welcome :) Looking forward to seeing your progress!! Feel free to add me.

Nice....lactose intolerant here, so Almond milk is a pure godsend to me. I find adding it in with my coffee just doesn't work out at all, so I opt for soy instead. I haven't tried the chocolate flavored almond milk before, but if its like the vanilla, then I am sure I love it! Adding it to my grocery list :) TY for sharing!

Oh I suffer from this too! What's worse is that my boyfriend is a photographer and so likes....no....LOVES...taking pictures of me. And I think he would agree when I say that out of 10 photos only 1 or none of them are usable because I am either shying away from it or I am pulling a funky face as a deterrence...lol. I am…
