Sounds great! That's an awful lot of splenda though, I'd suggest trying to decrease it a little at a time until you can use less :)

CW: 232.8 Bad week, sorry folks...

Hey there, I also have a full head of really thick hair, but I loose a ton of it all the time, while eating plenty ~1600 cals and taking a multivitamin. It's been that way as long as I can remember. I'd say no big deal and try not to fret about it. If it starts coming out in clumps, that's when I'd consider seeing a doc.

I'm excited about this! Go Hufflepuff!

Can I still join? 232.4lbs

I've wondered this too! I mean, why have a serving of crackers be 17 crackers? Why not 15 or 20? and have it be more or less calories per serving? I think it's completely random - - whatever makes the LEAST sense!

I recently tried Jergens Natural Glow Foaming Daily Moisturizer and didn't find it too bad (use regular lotion on your knees and ankles first) Also, the easiest, and cheapest, option is probably a pair of suntan pantyhose. Did that for Easter!

This is very similar to the one I have (from walmart, I think mine was 47). I really like it. It's a little complicated but it does everything that I want it to do, and more. The key thing is that, to be accurate, a HRM really needs to have a chest strap.…

I log it as "Dancing, aerobic, ballet or modern, twist" and I do have a HRM, and the calories are usually pretty close for me.

Rather than completely cutting out something that you seem to love (starbucks) try switching to a lighter version - an Iced coffee with skim milk and sugar free vanilla syrup has just about as much calories as the milk, and still tastes yummy. Lattes (with skim) are a lighter option too. Don't cut out everything you really…

I'm a first year graduate student in Ecology! I've been on here since the middle of January! Add me if you'd like!

Who doesn't love a good "Cracked" article :) Thanks for posting!

The 45 dollar one from walmart (with a chest strap) has worked well for me. I've had it about a month...

I read somewhere that a woman burns 200-300 more calories a day while on her period. I don't even bother to weigh before and during my period because I know I retain a lot of water then... So, Yes, I agree with both of those statements!
-
Do you feel that it has to be 2 lbs a week? If you switched to 1.5 lbs a week you could have more calories in a day.
-
I find that the 100 calorie snack packs (except for the almonds and crasins) do nothing to help fill you up. It's actually kind of annoying, because they're so over priced!

I live alone and eat Lean Cuisine/Healthy Choice etc. meals alot. They are LOADED with sodium... geeze! Try using Mrs. Dash when you cook - adds flavor but not sodium...

I'd say that the correct response would be for you to say "Thanks! I've been working really hard." The first step is learning to love yourself. If you don't love yourself you're always going to question ulterior motives whenever someone compliments you. Even if you think you've got a ways to go, be proud of the progress…

I would say count yourself as sedentary and record your exercises as you do them. Otherwise, change your activity level and don't record the exercise. MFP sets lower calorie needs for sedentary than other levels of activity.
-
This means you probably should have set your activity level at very active, or something like that. It automatically builds in more calories for you.

I ditto that TOM Sucks. And not only that, but the weight loss and exercise have my cycle all whopperjawed. I used to have a very predictable 4-5 days, and I had cramps for one day every other period. And now It's a complete surprise. Oh Joy. My last one was 8 days long, and generally much lighter for the whole thing. Ugh.…

Yes, but then, If you were trying to make this an article written for women, maybe pick a less male-centric analogy. When I read it my first thought wasn't a revving metabolic rate, it was how wasteful sports cars were in terms of money and natural resources.
-
This is way off topic and not what this article was about, but... I'd rather be a Prius. They're significantly more eco-concious. Who wants to blaze through life with reckless abandon? I'd rather enjoy the ride.

Sounds kinda like a quizno's. Try reporting it as that?

If you gave up something for lent, you're probably of a religious turn. Use this to your advantage. When ever you're feeling down about no progress, and you really just want to weigh yourself to see how your doing, sit down and say a prayer, and give those feelings of Inadequacy or Fear of Failure over to God. I certainly…

I have the game for the wii and I really don't like it. The band is strange and it never stays where it is supposed to. The wii registers correct movements when you're severely screwing up and incorrect ones when you're doing everything right. I didn't have a good experience with it, and I plan on selling it used.

a sugar free jello cup has just 10 calories. I found it really helpful when I started!

Go Sam! I had those kind of comments too when I put up a post about healthy(er) fast food options. I had people go all preacher on me about how they haven't ate fast food in years and that it was bad for me and bad for my health and all sorts of random stuff on how they were better than me. Yeah. Whatever. I'm happy and…

Maybe just chicken broth?
