I usually don't weigh myself the day or two after holidays/events. Just jump back on the train and and like jennwilliams7 said above, wait 3-5 days before weighing again. Most importantly, don't get down on yourself! :)

I used to run everyday. Now that I have incorporated strength training into my life, I try to get some form of cardio every other day, taking Sundays off (or Saturday, if I know I'll be doing some kind of fun run on Sunday) My strength trainer is concerned about the effects "pounding the pavement" has on my bones/back, so…

I'm not an expert but I think weight training 3 times a week PLUS cardio two or three times a week is the best formula for strengthening and toning. I couldn't live without my cardio. My trainer has me running less time (to avoid stress on my bones/joints) but now doing intervals of fast and slow paces. I too, am concerned…

OMG!!! I just bought one from Lee's Sandwiches only to have eaten it and realized it had over 700 calories!?!? I admit they are more on the HUGE side of Char Siu Bao but I am shocked to learn that it has 700 calories. Lees Sandwiches has a nutritional list so assuming its correct. OK, guess that makes up my calories for…
