Maintain weight/ build muscle

I wanna stay around my current weight but i also wanna tighten up my stretched skin i lost 88 pounds n it looks like i still have a gut
Would a mile of cardio 6 days a week and lifting different muscles work? Is the cardio necessary?

Skip cardio, do full body heavy compound lifts. Eat enough calories, makes sure you get enough protein

I'm not an expert but I think weight training 3 times a week PLUS cardio two or three times a week is the best formula for strengthening and toning. I couldn't live without my cardio. My trainer has me running less time (to avoid stress on my bones/joints) but now doing intervals of fast and slow paces. I too, am concerned now, however that by adding muscle my actual weight loss may be more difficult... since muscle weighs more. I guess I'd rather feel and look better than be a number on the scale but that one is tough for me to overcome mentally.

You don't maintain weight while building muscle. Building muscle requires adding mass. Adding mass means increase in weight.
