I have one, and I love it! I have maintained an 80lb loss for about 2 years ( just now starting work on the last 15 or so) and feel that my portion control and will power with food are pretty good. That said, I will never be perfect, especially when it comes to chocolate. For a long time I simply did not keep it in the…

Feel free to add me. I have lost 75 lbs over the last 2 years and would like to lose another 10-20 but it is sloooooow going these days. Most of my MFP friends have faded away over time so I would love to have some more active friends!

I have been feeling a bit down lately about my weight loss...things have really slowed down and I still really struggle with seeing the difference when I look in the mirror. Looking at photos, however, really helps me to appreciate how far I have come. I started in May of 2013 at around 250lb (5'8") I am now at 178.

Great job! You look younger and happier!

I am in the same boat. I have lost 70lbs so far but have been gaining and loosing the same few pounds for 6+ months. I am hoping to start jogging now that the weather is moderating and that this change in my exercise routine will help get things moving again. Good luck!

You are doing so great, you look awesome! I love your dress :)

I have been using mostly 5lbs with the occasional 3lb as my lighter weight, with 8lbs as my heavier. I would work with what feels right for you. If I find I am moving easily through a weight move with no 'burn' I know it is time to move up...If I can barley make it through three consecutive reps of a move I know I have…

I just started level three of Ripped in 30...oy, Adora is right about the shoulders/triceps, they are killer. I did level one and level two for about 10 days each. When I moved on I was still modifying some of the moves (mostly the pushup type), but felt ready to move on. I have also found that the first few days on a…

I am from Michigan, too! An interesting bit of trivia I just learned...the term 'Michigander' was coined by Abraham Lincoln when speaking of then presidential candidate Lewis Cass. The more you know. Any Michiganders (or history nerds) feel free to add me.

Great job! I never thought I would make it to 50 pounds either, it is a great feeling! Keep up the good work!

I can't believe I am just discovering a thread full of food pictures! How did I miss this? Not the best picture, but very tasty: Asparagus, goat cheese, and lemon pasta with baked perch. 398 calories Salmon and spinach rice bowl. 367 calories

Hi! I am 33 and am about half way to my goal...50 lost 40-50ish to go. As for tips, for me it has really been as simple as tracking my calories and exercising more. I have had great luck with a combo of Jillian Michael's DVDs and walking, I may try adding some jogging if the snow and ice ever melt. Patience has been the…

I have had great success with Jillian DVDs! I just started a new workout plan in February that goes: Ripped in 30 Banish Fat Boost Metabolism No More Trouble Zones Yoga Repeat My new plan has helped to break me out of a bit of a plateau, I have lost 6lbs so far this month! I am enjoying alternating the workouts, it helps…

I have also started and stopped many times before. The key for this, my first real success at weight loss, was starting out slow. In the past I had gone all out, only to burn out after a few weeks. This time I started by making small, sustainable changes and have been able to maintain a slow but steady loss for 10 months…

Great job! I can totally relate to needing photographic evidence to help see my own weight loss. Keep up the good work!

Awesome job! Thanks for sharing, reading success stories like yours helps to keep me motivated!

Congrats on your first 10 lbs! I am about halfway to my goal of losing 100 lbs. The hardest part for me has been patience...realizing the process takes time and that it is going to take longer than I would like to get to my goal. While patience has been a bit of struggle for me, overall, I am still surprised at how easy it…

Awesome job! I have trouble seeing my weight loss when I look in the mirror...but I can't deny it when my pants are falling down! It is a great feeling!

I started out at 5'8" and 250 lbs using Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred. I did the modified version of some exercises in the beginning and felt that it really helped me get back into working out. It is also only 25 minutes so it is a good fit if you have limited time. I also just started using HASfit.com. They have a ton of…
