Maybe you just need to tell him, hey, when you make comments or are grossed out by other people's weight, it makes me feel bad, because I'm not at the ideal weight myself.

Obviously, I'm not a man, but I feel compelled to put in my two cents. If you're husband cannot appreciate the body that gave birth to his child and the hard work that you are putting in now to make yourself healthy, then he is not worth it. I mean come on. You are a very pretty girl and while you may be carrying a few…

I just made popsicles with coconut milk. One can of pineapple chunks with juice, one banana and one can of coconut milk. Toss in the blender to puree, then freeze in cups of popsicle molds.

I think everyone is taking the poem to literally. I think the point is that people can be mean, no matter what size you are. I've seen people picked on because they were heavy(myself included) and I've seen people picked on because they were really thin. Some people are haters through and through and if they're not hating…

I had an uncle that started calling me Chubs when I was in second grade. In my eyes, he was a grown up and I believed him, even when others told me different. I mean why would he keep telling me that if it wasn't true. Well in second grade I was not chubby. In fact, I was not chubby until sometime in high school. However,…

That would hurt my feelings as well. I, like you, don't necessarily believe in surgically altering my body. I have three children and two are girls. To me, it seems almost hypocritical to preach to them to love themselves as God made them and then to turn around and have surgery. However, I can also see why people do these…

I had my last child in October 2010. I'm down to my pre-pregnancy weight(with him anyway) and would like to lose another 30-40 pounds.

I was walking around a grocery store when I realized my purse was not in my cart. Someone I knew came up to me, right as I started to panic. She asked how I was doing and I blurted out that I thought someone had stolen my purse. She kinda looked at me funny and I realized that my purse was still on my shoulder....

www.skinnytaste.com has some good recipes. I just made the Turkey Pumpkin Chili yesterday. I put it in the crockpot on Low at around 6am and we ate around 5:30pm. You should be able to cook just about anything on low for long periods of time.

I walk during at least one of my 15 minute breaks. Then I either walk/run or take an aerobics class during my lunch break. It gives me a little energy for the rest of the day and I don't feel like I HAVE to workout in the evening and take time away from my family.

I like the New Balance brand. You can usually find them on sale at Kohls.

I agree that you need to eat more! You will find that you have much for energy if you add some more food to your diet. Also, I don't know how tall you are, but you may want to reconsider your goal weight. 85 pounds is very low for an adult woman. Please be safe! Food is not your enemy!

Don't be disappointed! Everyone falls now and again. Keep brainstorming on ways to get some more exercise in. It doesn't have to be a large chunk, 10 minutes here and there does add up! Be proud of yourself for caring about your health!!

I've had them! They are a little dry, but good for a chocolate fix!

Chips, chocolate cake (however I like all other things chocolate), Pepperoni, honey buns/bear claws, olives(are those bad for you, IDK, I just don't like them), ribs, McDonalds hashbrowns, regular soda...

Congrats!!!! Best of luck!

I would plan to eat a small one. You can maybe use lower fat ice cream or frozen yogurt and a small amount of oreos. You could also add some fruit(like strawberries or bananas) to make the sundae and little bigger and fill you up more. There's nothing wrong with icecream(or any other treat) now and again as long as you…

If you really knew me...you would know that I've thought I was fat since the age of eight because an uncle jokingly nicknamed me Chubs. I held a lot of bitterness towards him, wondering how an adult could do that to a child, when it visibly upset them( I would cry when he called me that). It wasn't until the last year or…

I have not read all of the replies to your question, but here is what I've learned from my own experience. I was eating my calories back, but not losing as fast as I would like (~1/2 pound per week maybe), so I decided just to eat my 1200 calories. I lost a pound the first week and then went back to my 1/2 pound per week.…

Nuts, boiled eggs, some cheese...I'm trying to think of things you can put on your salads...avocadoes, beans...

In college, I dissected rats for a physiology lab.
