I think it's all a matter of what works for each person individually. Don't worry, I won't try to convert you, nor am I interested in your judgment. I'm just looking for others using similar methods.

My short term goal is 155 (169 currently) after a pregnancy high of 210. 155 was what I weighed when I conceived. I'd like to eventually get down to 142 or so, that's what i weighed when I felt I looked my best. But I think my real goal is to no longer have a "mother's apron". I have been heavier than I am now before…

Hi, I'm Jen. I am 5'6" and weigh 169. I'm still trying to loose the weight that I gained during pregnancy almost 2 years ago. I'd ideally like to get down to 140-145.

The software won't let me "complete" the diary because I am under the 1000 cal minimum, but I still record what I eat on those days. In fact. I find MFP more important on fasting days to ensure I don't overeat.

I'm trying alternate day fasting to try to get past mine. Every other day you have a 500 cal fast, and on the alternate days you eat as you like. I'm only a week into it (and down about 2.5 lbs), so we'll see how sustainable it is longer term.

I had a baby almost two years ago now and I can't shake the last 15 lbs. I want to feel pretty and wear my old clothes again.

I've just created a group for breastfeeding mothers. Feel free to join, it is titled "breastfeeding group" (creative, I know).

Is there a breastfeeding group? I'm also nursing, my son is 6 months old and I want to start losing the baby weight (about 35 lbs) but I'm very concerned about my supply. I've set my calorie goal at 1800 per day and will see what happens and adjust as needed.

I also have this same problem. I have to avoid vitamins with any kind of iron in them and that fixes the problem.

Here's a website that I found via pintrest with MANY freezer-to-crock-pot meals and shopping lists for ingredients you will need. I have no idea what you personally consider healthy, but there's enough selection on this site for you to pick through.…

If you have a smartphone, I find that tracking calories with an app like runkeeper, which keeps track of things like pace, elevation climb, your weight, etc. to be much more accurate. I've had great success with using runkeeper in combination with MFP.

This. Why do you care what other people eat?

Great job -- and where did you get that bikini? It's adorable!

This training program was recently published in the American College of Sports Medicine's Health and Fitness Journal, which can be made as intense as you want and doesn't need any extra equipment, or much room:…

Eat what you want, but do it in moderation. Denying yourself too much makes it difficult to stick to the diet.
