What did your food look like from Jan-Apr? After probably 3 weeks of 0 loss I probably would've adjusted my macros ... 4 months seems like a long time to stay static on LCHF, and no weight change in a year seems odd as well. Are you weighing and measuring everything you consume?

It exists if you fail to re-feed after an extended fast, continuing a period of extended low calorie doldrums. Fasting is fine, but *intermittent* is the key word.
-
No, I can't see how pre-eating pizzas would help you in this case.
-
And you thought ketone strips were expensive! ;) Hopefully it's not just vaporware.

Your 3 workout days include both the cardio and the weights? Martin would say you're better off skipping the cardio and sleeping in instead.

What is your height/weight/activity/level/typical day of food?
-
What is your feeding window, and when are your workouts?

How long have you been LC/Keto? Fasting shouldn't be stressful, so I'd say you probably could stand to ease in to it a bit before going for a 24h session. What was the overeating the day before a planned dinner based on? Were you thinking you'd skip breakfast and lunch to create more of a calorie budget for the social…

Don't need to count carbs on carnivore, just eat animal products. For example, 12 ounces of ribeye has 5 grams of carbs, so it's not like you could also eat eggs and cheese that day (which also have carbs). Dairy is probably the most tricky though, so make sure to read the label because there can be a lot of additives.

Nah you'll be fine -- it's a super neutral oil.

Fat does smoothe out wrinkles, so these kind of comments are not surprising.

I've done keto while doing routed propane delivery in Wyoming during the winter ... not 100% hard work since there's driving time in the truck between stops but there's a lot of intermittent hard work what with the dragging hose, knee-deep snow, chaining up, etc. Once you're adapted it's not too bad. I salt my water and do…

Do you slice it after the cure or before?
-
wut? Only like 10% of mayo is the egg, the rest is oil.

By jumptraining do you mean plyometrics? That is definitely very demanding work and a different animal than dumbbells or cardio.

@AlexandraCarlyle Think about caffeine/coffee. There is no metabolic "need" for it, but many people find they prefer incorporating it in to their lives for the benefits it confers. Possibly the same could end up being the case with SS: people could get the athletic performance boost that glucose can provide while staying…

It's not that they're not working in our favor -- it's that they're working to not get sued.

This is yet another time when I wish ketone testing strips weren't so dad-burned expensive! It'd be cool to test throughout the day when taking the SuperStarch, before and after the physical event, at night, the next day, etc.

Well, keep an eye on it. The hunger blunting effect can lead to undereating for some people, and so you'll flag in more ways than just an electrolyte shortage.
-
Ya, you'll have some hungry days and some less hungry days. As your satiety cues normalize, keep an eye on your weight, energy, mood, etc. and if any are dropping too much, you might need to add more food.

"allowed" is relative. 20g of carbs is a good number that people are given if they want to be totally positive they are in ketosis without doing blood tests. It's low enough that you can be certain that metabolic adaptations take place. But people can be in ketosis with much higher grams of carbs per day, and even to be…

@ccrdragon @canadjineh and not even the carbs --- 2lbs of cheddar in a week is an extra 520 calories per day! :worried:

Which data are your trendline based on? The R2 seems low.

>I find it quite interesting that they use uncured bacon after pumping the rest of it with all kinds of garbage! >I find it interesting they call refer to the gruyere when there are 2 other "cheeses" higher on the ingredient list - cottage (which has more carbs than I am personally willing to eat) and monterey jack. Three…

Can you get "fractionated coconut oil"?
-
oof, one of my huge pet peeves is people who saute with EVOO ... actually, my roommate has one of those infrared temperature guns so I think I might have to see how hot my pans actually get!
-
@Gallowmere1984 forearms of a deadliftah'!!

guacamole ofc!!!

I've had a container of coconut flour that I've been trying to use up forever! A little goes such a long way. I should probably just toss it instead of giving it the death of a thousand cuts by only using a couple Tbsp's at a time. All the fake baked goods just end up being disappointments.
