That happens to me sometimes. It's like I want to eat to stay awake. We have a fitness center at my work and I'll go hop on the elliptical machine for 10 minutes to wake up. Either that or I drink a Monster Absolute Zero - never said I was perfect!

When I was a child I was ALWAYS supervised by one or both parents when I went trick or treating. One of my favorite holidays of the year. I loved getting dressed up and I loved the candy. I lived in a very close knit safe neighborhood where everybody knew everybody else. It was a blast!

I love the south beach bars too! The oatmeal raisin is my fave. I thought they quit making them too but they just changed names and now labeled as SnackWell's - they have them at my local wal mart where the south beach bars used to be. They are the same exact thing just different packaging and different name.

I don't drink much - but if I know I'll have a few drinks - I skip taking mine too that day. Lactic Acidosis sounds super scary! But there have been times I didn't expect to drink - but did - and I had already taken it. Nothing bad happened - but it's still scary so I try to plan ahead when I can!

I dont know how long you've been taking that dose - but my doctor prescribed me only 500 a day initially b/c it would lessen the possibility of GI effects. She gradually increased my dosage as my body got used to it.
