  • I totally want to see it! I saw the first one in the theater and it was so damn funny I cried. Maybe me and the hubby can catch a matinee this weekend - tix are SO expensive now! We rarely go to the movies any more -we wait for stuff to come out on Redbox - lol. But this one would be worth the extra cash to see on the big…

  • For me it was somewhere between 30 and 40 pounds.
  • Great Post - thanks!!
  • I've been on antidepressants for the past 4 or 5 years.I took Lexapro for a couple years, then switched to Prozac b/c it's cheaper with my insurance. Honestly I never saw either of them affect my weight that I can recall. Depression and anxiety would make me want to eat more and starting a weight loss regimen would often…
  • Hmm that's interesting - I'll have to look at the links later when I'm not at work. Thanks for posting. There are also some good shows on Discovery Health about people with super obesity - it is amazing how much the human body will tolerate - and what it won't! I never liked twinkies much either. At least not the yellow…
  • Delicious!! Love them!! But as an occasional treat - since they are kinda pricey. But generally they're about a buck a piece - you could easily spend that on a bag of chips from the vending machine. SO all and all a fair price. Lots of good stuff in them, most only have 100 cals, and are VERY VERY Filling and quite tasty.…
  • Girl you are so beautiful! Congratulations on your success and best wishes for the future successes I'm sure you'll have.
  • Strawberry Shortcake. Banana Pudding. Banana Nut Bread, Pineapple Upsidedown Cake. Cherry Pie, Most Seafood. Any yogurt or ice cream with fruit in it. I could go on...
  • French, German, English, Irish, Scottish - pretty much any of those make me melt.
  • Ok so I posted the very first book I saw previously - but it was in this room - which is full of my husband's stuff. So I entered the room with MY stuff in it and grabbed the first book I saw there - "De provenance prestigieuse, L'histoire de ce tableau en temoigne: il a fait partie des collections du prince Eugene de…
  • "Our own intrepid editor at the Waco Trib, my friend John Young, doesn't want to simply make the choice to be unarmed and helpless for himself, he has again recently insisted that you and I must also comply with his soulless condition of unarmed helplessness." ( this is my husband's book - Ted, White, and Blue The Nugent…
  • I have never had this problem - but I know of people who do or did and the best thing you can do is eat high calorie healthy foods - such as nuts, nut butters on whole wheat bread or crackers, avacado, whole grain pasta with olive oil dressing, etc.
  • For me - it's my big belly flapping up and down that hurts. My legs are generally ok - i have small breasts so they're well confined to my sports bra, but the belly bouncing up and down and my body in general pounding into the ground - its just uncomfortable. Plus i hate how my shorts ride everywhere they shouldn't go! I…
  • HI SAM! I'm an addict too - Diet Coke, Diet Sprite, Pepsi Maxx - yep it's bad for you - but I haven't quit either.
  • on a side note - i have been looking into getting a HRM for those exercises i mentioned - aerobics, zumba, sports, etc. in case i decide to partake in those activities again - but as for now - i'm fine with just bein a walker jogger:)
  • I personally don't use on yet but my current exercise is mostly walking and jogging. As long as you log your distance and speed you can get an accurate reading via MFP. However it's when you get in the grayer areas such as playing asport, dancing, aerobics where there could be a gazillion variances due to exertion levels…
  • Are you using MFP to gauge how many calories you burned? You can't go by what MFP says alone - just b/c it says you burned 500 cals or whatever doesn't mean you actually did b/c of intensity variances etc. If you feel like you exerted more of yourself jogging, then you probably burned more jogging, and not as many playing…
  • I recently threw away my cheap dial scale b/c it was so bad - if i leaned one way it said more, leaned the other way it said less. If i scooted it around on the floor it would vary as much as 5 pounds depending on where I put it on the floor! I had bought a digital scale too - but it had the scoot around variances too -…
  • You can TOTally see a difference! Way to go and keep it up. LIke the new tats too :)
  • Yesss!!! So you feel my pain - lol. It's been 7 years since I was there and I have longed for that taste ever since. Nothing here compares, and most people around here don't know what they are. I used to joke around that I'd save up the gazillion dollar airfare to fly overseas just to eat a kebap again. LOL. Until then I…

  • I've been there once - I didnt see anything like it on the menu - but I wasn't exactly looking for it at the moment either. They have a very good Caesar wrap there though - I must say :)

  • Hey that's cool -I'll probably never get to go there, but it's pretty neat to know such a place exists!

  • They aren't French - not sure what they are. Similar to a Gyro - but way better in my opinion. The places I ate them were Mister Kebap and Dersim Kebap, It was cheap - 5,50 e for a kebap, fries, and a can coke. At the time that was about $7 US. The ones I had were on a firm but fluffy bread, thicker than a typical pita.…

  • OH and by the way the reason I'm asking is they're like one of the most delicious guilty pleasures ever - and I would like to experience one again - on a day when I exercise my rear off and have a LOT of calories to spare.

  • Boeuf Bourguignon - From La Concorde in Dijon - no exceptions. The Tira Misu I had on my honeymoon cruise to Mexico (no other recipe has even compared) A bottle of the wine I drank in France (I can't remember the name) And if I have room (which I won't)- a Kebap from Mister Kebap or Dersim Kebap in Dijon FR
  • bump
  • That is fantastic!! Way to go both of you.
  • I once contemplated surgery when I was at my highest weight - b/c I was really depressed and feeling all hope was lost - but I eventually turned that depression into motivation. There is no reason you can't get the weight off naturally. Especially since you are young!! You can do it and we are all here to help!
  • Interesting - I have been trying to go to the printer more at work - I can't really stand at my desk though -I would look like quite a wierdo - but I'll try to stand more at home or something like that.
