  • I have the same problem, but from looking on here, it would seem that squats, donkey kicks, adding a riser to a step, taking the stairs two at a time are all good exercises for those areas. I'm gonna start donkey kicks today, will do them before my shred! Good luck with what you try!
  • @foreverlyn, have replied to your status! Just done L2D6, was really unmotivated to start it this morning, but think it was my best L2 workout yet! Really fluffed on the plank twists at the end though - fell into a very undignified heap on the floor, head in towel, groaning, whilst I could hear Jillian shouting "give me…
  • That's a great result and very inspiring to me when I'm 16 days through! Well done you!
  • Dukeydukey, I think it's quite realistic, especially as you say you do a lot of other stuff too! I've done 15 days now, with 2 rest days (on saturdays) and I'd never done anything quite so intensive before. I actually go to bed looking forward to shredding in the morning! (except this morning, where I'm trying to motivate…
  • I think everything in moderation too. When I started MFP I wasn't drinking a lot, but I noticed that a lot of the good work done during the week was cancelled out by the odd bottle of wine and glass of whisky at the weekend. It wasn't so much the alcohol on it's own, but the fact that after a glass or two, my resistance to…

  • Tiggermummy, how did you find the Lidl HRM?
  • I'm in Worcester - feel free to add me for support and motivation!

  • Yeah, she was definitely rude for challenging you on it - if it was me, I would have been mortified! But well done for raising it with her, although you might have started to exaggerate the huffing and puffing and pounding feet on the treadmill to make her conversation difficult!
  • Oh that's right Jojo- I remember now! I don't think I'll go as far as popping my weights into my handbag and carrying them around for a day just to 'remind' myself! Right, got 1/2 way through now! 15 day countdown starts HERE! I have a dilemma though...on a Tuesday I've been shredding when I've been a few days into the…
  • Erica, on d3 I felt awful afterwards, so I don't know how I managed this am to do so much- I think part of it comes from becoming familiar with the circuits, and with the plank exercises, I would rather do fewer slower than do the modified ones at speed- I really didn't think I was working hard enough on them! Ruby, I only…
  • Hi there sophie, sounds like you're making a great start! I'm from Worcester and have so enjoyed the experience of growing my own fruit & veg, there is little else as satisfying! Feel free to add me as a friend, and best of luck on your weight loss journey!
  • Just shredded L2D4- can't believe I'm nearly 1/2 way there! Seems like I've been doing it forever... For those of you just starting L2, I can say that today was the day I got thru most of it. I think it was the 2nd reps of the 2nd circuit of cardio I took my 1st 5sec break (there were plenty more to follow tho!). By the…
  • I'm on L2 and just done D3. I haven't shredded on Saturdays and actually had a rest day from exercise then. In the 1st week I lost a lb and gained a lb, but did expect that after reading stuff on these forums. I then started to take my measurements, and I wish I'd done it before I'd started, because I have already lost…
  • L2 D3 done. It's a killer! Tried to do the harder versions of the plank exercises as I felt the modified ones were 2easy. Even if I can't do them all I feel that I'm exercising better! It's a big step up from L1, I'm finding my recovery rate is a lot slower.... Still enjoying it though- feels like I'm getting one hell of a…
  • I do this often. Maybe not all meals, but it helps on days when I don't exercise much as well as days when I do a lot. Just keeps me informed of how much /little I've actually got to play with. I also find it helps inform my choices of whether to hav pudding or not!
  • Jojo- stand up and then keeping your knees straight bend down, from that position 'walk' forward using your hands (keeping your feet still) until you are in a push up (proper one, not the sucky ones I do!) position. Do a push up, 'walk' back using your hands and then stand up straight....fun!
  • Great loss! Feel free to add me- I'm always on the lookout 4more people to support and get support from! This is a great site!
  • Just did L2D1.... Did mostly modified versions of things, especially when in plank position. Am aching a bit but nothing like L1D1. Also, was really impressed - found the walking push ups EASIER than the push ups in L1. Oh yes. (Wonder if I'll still be saying that tomoro!) Keep up the shreddin'!
  • I'm from Worcester, feel free to add me, it's great 2have support on here! Looking forward to getting to know more people :-)
  • I've given up alcohol aswell- it's not so much the calories from alcohol, but the snacks/takeaways I crave after indulging! So far so good.... :-)
  • I've pre-ordered it for the 1st April - so can't wait! Glad it's getting good results on here too, I go to a zumba class and love it, but I want to do more!
  • @elfward I found it easier after D4 - that was when I could walk properly again! And by D5....wasn't getting anymore pain in my legs! @foreverlyn- I'm due to move up on Thursday....yes, I'm dreading it! Still can't do push ups, only doing about 8 modified ones in that whole section...but hey.
  • You look AMAZING! Those are great photos and a fab way to record a brilliant success!
  • Thanks for doing this - it's a great post! I have bookmarked it to look back at when I'm feeling unproductive in my weight loss!
  • L1D8 done, I think I hadn't been breathing properly when I did the push ups, so I was really careful today. Managed the 1st set ok but struggled the 2nd lot! Have to say, was feeling a bit down about yesterday, would have been gutted if the pain had carried on - I'm still aware of it, but it was fine during exercise, but I…
  • I'm doing the 30DS each day, I try to walk for 30-60 min each day, although sometimes I do gardening instead of a longer walk. I find if I take a day off, I want to take the day off working out and watching what I eat! So I make sure I always do something so I've got the calories to spare to eat something nice!
  • I agree with the people on here who are suggesting that this person has her own issues. It may have been cos I skim read your post (sorry!), but I didn't see anything in it that suggested she was openly having a go at you. It's purely how she sees herself. You could ask her how she sees you and then base your actions (ie…
  • Hi there, I'm in Worcester, so fairly close! Add me as a friend if you want - I find the support on here fab!
  • Hiya, hope you're sorted out now! My Understanding of laxatives is that most over the counter ones are actually irritants, and use that method to expel what's in your intestines. Laxatives you get from your dr relax your intestines to allow stuff to leave. An irritant causes your intestines to constrict, which usually…
  • Welcome! This is a great site, I've found people very helpful and supportive on here. Good luck with your challenge!
