  • What an inspiring lady you are, missis! I have never had anything so bad happen to my knee like you experienced, but I do have a medical condition that sometimes gives me arthritic type pain in my knees, although there is never any inflammation, so in the past I have used my 'bad knees' as an excuse not to exercise...and…
  • The first time I did it my quads also burned like hell. I can feel your pain when you say even sitting on the loo was hard - I felt all of that! Personally, I worked through it, the pain was more obvious when I was stationary, so I kept moving all day (albeit in a slightly pathetic manner!). by day 5 it had worn off! But…

  • I did fire 45 & stretch 10 today- what an awesome workout, loved all the roundhouse kicks!! Hoping tomorrow after I've done HIIT 20 I'll be fired up enough to do some more No More Trouble Zones like last time- that gave me a great burn!!
  • Well I had myself another rest day yesterday, but felt restLESS all day, as I was missing my daily Chalene!! So did yesterday's fire 30 and today's core 20...I did 15 min of the stretch 40, but time was pressing against me, but not so bad combining those workouts! I've really got to sort my HRM though...dufus that I am, I…
  • I'll second the cheapie from either Lidl or aldi...I got one earlier in the year and it works just fine.
  • I thought it probably was, but they faked that picture at the end...
  • Wow - everyone's doing amazing on this! I've done 4 days now, just did my first EZ workout (EZ?? Really?!) followed by stretch 10...felt it afterwards, but now feel really rejuvenated! Not sure if I'm gonna workout both days on the weekend...but it's such an awesome workout, I bet I do anyway!
  • The best thing I found after doing HIIT15 was the amazing amount of energy I had for the rest of the day - I just felt so buzzed!
  • Hey!!! I did HIIT 15 today - totally loved it and Felt amazing afterwards - so I did 1/2 of JM No More Trouble Zones! YEAH! Got fire 30 again tmz, I also ordered a resistance band today, the one I got in the TF box smells of latex so bad, it makes me gag... Best of luck to u Kim in your interview and continued…
  • I started it yesterday, I haven't sorted out my resistance bands yet either...not sure! Have sent a friend request to you both!
  • Started my D1 proper today! Didn't do the 'new to class' option, but ploughed straight in - it was tough, but I loved it! Took my measurements beforehand, but will weigh a bit later on in the week (I had an indulgent weekend, so my weight is up, but as it's probably salt / water it would be misrepresentative to use it for…
  • I did a practice session today: fire 30 new to class and stretch 10- totally loved it!!! My hrm needs a new battery, but I burned 450ish cals for the 50 min combined! It would have been more- I clocked that my watch was only reading 69bpm during the fire drill, like YEAH! So will get the battery and hope for a better…
  • Tricep dips, extensions, kick backs, I hate the surrenders in no more trouble zones, but they're dead good. I guess not forgetting to work on your biceps whilst you're doing these can't hurt. And push ups. Good luck!
  • I read that it all depends on the colour of your pee: Too dark, not enough water Straw coloured, just right Too light or clear, too much water.
  • Hi CricketKate, I started doing that DVD after the 30 DS in April and totally loved it... I tried it again Monday after a 2 week holiday....I can hardly walk! I didn't get through the full DVD either, I did WU, 1, 2, 3, 4, 7 and CD. I only did 4 once through! It seems you're building it up gradually, perhaps I should have…
  • Hi there! I saw this thread the other day and it inspired me to buy Turbo Fire, so it's all your fault I'm sat here looking at a very scary box set of DVDs with incredibly ripped looking women as I try and work out my calorie intake.... If it would be ok, I'd love to join this thread, you all seem very motivated and at…
  • I love wine and although it's higher in calories than vodka, there is nothing on this earth that would make me drink vodka! Perhaps drink wine, but less of it? I cut down substantially earlier in the year, but from the holiday period, have noticed that my wine consumption has crept back up again! Red wine has proven health…
  • I think that an obvious follow on from this, would be whether the people who would lie to themselves if they knew no one saw their diary (which is what I've interpreted this comment to mean), would also lie by failing to log foods / drinks if there wasn't the option to keep their diary private, which negates the notion…
  • I'm looking forward to harvesting our squashes & pumpkins, our sweetcorn is very late this year, so it's virtually an autumn food! I'm also looking forward to making lots of yummy things with our apples and quinces....
  • Nope- just drink your water and eat plenty fresh fruit and veg! Agree with the above, your body is quite forgiving!
  • I'm in for 60 min 5 days per week! Need a challenge to regain my motivation...
  • Count me in!
  • So, are you planning on doing the master cleanse and the apple diet? I don't think both would be good for your body IMO
  • I commented upon this last night on a forum post, it's frustrating when it comes off slowly, for me it's taken 8 months to lose 16lbs, but I take comfort in the fact that it won't go back on that quickly (if at all!) just keep plodding away!
  • For me, white bread is very good. But each to their own...
  • I think I'm slower: 16lbs in 8months. But I think it depends upon how much you have to lose...and I want to lose it slowly so it doesn't return quickly!
  • I've done this a few times. Firstly, it's been motivational. The dress I am wearing in my profile pic was expensive, I bought it s size smaller because 'my' size at the time was gaping at the bust and loose fitting on the hips / butt. The smaller size I bought fit perfectly on top but was snug on my thighs, hips and butt.…
  • I'm with the Mrs with this, I got mine from Lidl in the UK, it was about £15, has a chest strap, I had to programme my details in, such as weight and age (there was probably more, but I did it a while ago now). I'm happy with it, the batteries don't last long, so I'm going to start removing them after use, but that's the…
