  • Back on it this morning! L2 D4 done...was a bit of a killer after 3 days off, but was glad for the rest I have to say!
  • I used to try and 'hide' my exercising when I knew my hubby was in the garden working...am really not sure why! But since we've started c25k together it doesn't seem to bother me as much. I don't go to a gym, I think it would take some getting past the embarrassment factor for me...I don't like being seen hot and sweaty in…
  • Yeah - it seems to get my shoulders more, can't get those 'repeater knees' after doing low to highs....but I do feel it in my abs on the double crunches and hauler man hold....yeuch. Anyway, having a break from it this weekend as I'm away, my thighs are very grateful! Back at it on Monday - great work everyone!
  • I'm not usually judgemental about the opinions of others.... But it is just an opinion. Here is a fact: it's 'lose weight', 'losing weight' not 'loose weight' or 'loosing weight'. I know it's petty. But I don't like being told what I should and shouldn't log as exercise. Sorry if this point has been made...I didn't read…
  • Originally North Yorks, now Worcestershire
  • There's a group of us doing it on "starting 6week 6pack 22nd May". We're all about 1/2 way through, give or take so you could read some comments on there. Personally, I have just started L2 (so about 3weeks through) and I have lost just over 3lbs and a few inches all over, so I'm pleased with my results so far! There's not…

  • In the UK I am fairly certain I have seen it in HMV
  • I don't log it for this reason and I think only one person on this thread has said that they log their walk to work only on days where they think they are going over. I have a sedentary lifestyle according to MFP, so I feel that if I am doing something that elevates my heart rate for 30+ minutes I will log it. This is in…
  • Well done for listening to your body! The rest will help you, I think. I just did L2D2...it's tough. Doesn't help that I'm really congested atm, breathing is hard enough without having to time it with my moves! Kept having to stop because my mouth was so completely dry. Glad I get a break this weekend, although if tomorrow…
  • I've sent you a friend request - you seem to have the same target as me, although not by the 2nd July! Can defo offer support tho!
  • I think if they have set their lifestyle to sedentary, then MFP calculates that into the allowance they give you. For example, I'm not working so I've set my lifestyle to sedentary. That (IMO) allows me to log pretty much anything I want, providing I feel it elevates my heart rate. I haven't done this to allow me to eat…
  • Soooo.....after my zumba class didn't happen (I biked there but no1 showed up...not even the teacher- pah!) I came home and on a whim decided to give L2 a go.... ...omg! Completely kicked my butt! It was sooooo hard! Still, glad I tried it, it really focussed me- tbh I think I lost my motivation a bit with L1....need a new…
  • To tone, you could try cycling. You can't spot reduce fat as people have said, but you can improve the muscle tone which will help. :-)
  • I thought I'd add onto this. I'm on medication, which includes immuno-suppressants. I have found the last 6 months to be some of the best since being diagnosed, and I am fairly certain that including exercise helps a lot. That said, when you're feeling blah, exercise is often the last thing you want to (or physically) can…
  • Did D17....watched L2! LMAO! Oh dear God.... Right, I am feeling that I'm no longer putting in as much effort to L1 any more. By tomorrow I hope to have done L1 18 times in the last 3 1/2 weeks, so I was thinking that as of Thursday I might start on L2... This will help because I am away this weekend and if I did L1 for 21…
  • I started a lot of things over time that I stopped because I wasn't enjoying them! I joined a gym, did the induction and then hardly went - I didn't enjoy the gym environment, so that was what stopped me there. I went swimming, didn't enjoy the intense heat in the changing rooms or the number of people swimming who were…
  • Haha did w2 d1 today- was pouring with rain so did it inside jogging / walking on the spot using wii fit free jog as our guide! Worked a treat :-) we looked pretty daft tho, I'll give u that!
  • D16 done. Feeling a bit bored of this level now...want to move it up!
  • Just done D15! Whoop - can almost smell the fear from L2 just round the corner! Much better than yesterday - note to self: Don't do gardening and stupid biking before JM! She MUST come first!
  • Hi, I'm a friend of skinnyme and I have Crohn's. Feel free to add me. Hope you're feeling well atm
  • Great job- L1 for 21 days I think. I did D14 today, was knackered as did it after my gardening & cycling back from butchers with >8kg of meat on my back! Gonna try and go thru til Friday...getting the start of a head cold so will see..
  • My (new, digital) scales show me 1/2lb lighter than my wii fit. I also think I over calculate the clothes weight on them, so I use that to track my weight and my scales to monitor my weight. It's only a tiny amount so I don't get too upset by it!
  • I love drinking water, but if I only drank it and not any drinks with calories in, I would struggle to net my intake for the day. I always drink OJ on a morning and have 2-3 cups of coffee and tea...and yes...a glass of wine does give salad a touch of class!
  • Day 13 done - much more motivated today and those side planks!! Hah! Easy. Gonna blast through the next 8 days solid and then have the next w/e off as I'm away. Bit worried as I'll've had a 2 day gap before going up to L2....still, that can be my excuse for finding it hard! Got loads of compliments yesterday when I saw…
  • Did W1 D3 on Tuesday - was ok, but hubby got cramp so had to walk 1/2 of it :-( Hoping to pick up W2 either tonight or tomorrow, but feel I should give hubby the chance to redo W1D3 so he can complete.
  • D12 done - sooooo struggled today! Felt better for it, but struggled on the left leg diagonal get up - pain in muscle on my right side :frown: Never mind. Can't do tomorrow but will be back at it on Thursday - only 9 more days of L1!
  • I started doing this so I made one day a weekend a workout day, which helped make me more focussed on the day I wasn't exercising (if that makes sense). Perhaps one day a week you just don't log your food? It may lead to overindulging, but you might find you've picked up enough good habits on here for you not to go over or…
  • Jus done...oh God - D11? Can't think straight! After 3 days of rest it was tough...really wasn't focussed on it at all, but got through...until tomorrow!
