I've been told don't eat a big meal after 7pm, if your hungry, have a snack like a apple w/peanut butter or some veggies. I wouldn't worry about not eating all your calories.

I know what you mean, I crave for salty snacks, I bought some of the 100 calories snacks, they tend to take the edge off. They have all kinds now. Good Luck!
