Hi, everyone! Please feel free to add me! I love to give motivation! I'm Jennifer, 34, open diary! I try to do around 1500 cal/day, eating somewhat healthy but enjoying everything else in moderation. At least, practicing!
-
CrossFit is intense! Glad you've found ways to still be active. Let's support each other!
-
I'm adding you right now!!! We can help each other gain control over sugar!!! I was eating dessert nightly, PLUS 3+ oreos, fun sized candy bars, etc. in a single day! But I've reigned that in and need to continue to work at it. We can do it!
-
Sorry about knee surgery! Hope you're on the up and up now. Added you!
-
Sent you a FR! Anyone else--feel free to add me, too! My diary is open to friends. I lost sight of moderation...eating a bunch of sweets, had a drink or two everyday over Christmas break. I really enjoy food but it has gotten out of control. Logging has been helping keeping me in check. I would love to see your food…

Let's do this! I'm adding you. :)
-
Hi! I just synced my Fitbit to MFP so I'm learning as I go. Thanks for the tips!
-
Yes! I am starting to see the fun in that! It motivated me to go on that last walk of the night with the doggo to see what extra steps/calorie burn I could get. :)
-
Ah, i see! Well, for any given reason that you all have--I just won't log manually and I'll avoid all of that. :)
-
Ok, thanks for explaining.
-
It is reassuring that there is hope to overcome this sugar craze! Thanks for sharing. I walk my dog daily, too! A few 30 min HIIT/light weights/core focus workouts throughout the week. I will definitely add you!
-
That makes SO MUCH sense. I really appreciate the breakdown. I won't sweat the setting, then since Fitbit will automatically adjust my calorie allotment (at least, more or less accurately).
-
Got it! I will not log exercise manually since it would count double. :)
-
Good to know! Thanks for your reply!
-
Haha, that is what I'm currently trying out and might adjust. This will be a good experiment!
-
Ahhh, I see! Thank you for enlightening me. I will see how the Fitbit does with my calorie adjustment for maybe a typical week and go from there. Appreciate the info!
-
Kudos to you on getting back on that horse! That is incredible!!! I will definitely add you.
-
Yeah, that definitely makes sense! Thank you! My daily walks do vary from ~7k - ~10k so I might just follow your lead. :)
-
Got it! Since my Fitbit is now synced with MFP, I just let it do its thing and will not manually log the calories burned. Thank you for the input that I may be viewed as more of an "active" vs "lightly active" case. This is my third time at it after a long, unintentional break. Time to face the music. :)
-
Wow! That's a lot of work! Kudos on taking care of 5 dogs! Anyway, thanks for your advice. Makes total sense!
-
Debbie, so nice to meet you! I admire your determination to lead a healthy life after such a traumatic event as a heart attack! So scary! Yes, this is actually my third time around now that I think about it, LOL. I should look into these YouTube stretching videos! I injured my ankle a few years ago and it still isn't quite…
-
I indulge too much with food and alcohol! Would love some to support and get support from like-minded folks! We can still enjoy life but in moderation! Please add! :)

@RisingAboveIt I will send you a friend request! And anyone else, feel free to add me! I also am re-starting MFP. It's crazy how, over time, we forget to hold ourselves accountable....slowly, we take less steps, mindlessly snack, etc. I use my FitBit to track my steps/HR. If anyone has that, too, I would be glad to connect!
-
Love this thread, btw. I don't log gum or cooking oil, like canola or olive oil....but I do butter for some reason, lol.
-
Fantastic progress. Sorry about the setbacks but love that you just persevered and. Continued progress.
-
I've done a whole chipotle burrito once. And I put my jamba juice smoothie into a water bottle, and then threw that in my purse.
-
Chocolate covered pretzels. Pint of Americone Dream Ben and Jerry's ice cream. Chips. Doesn't really matter flavor/brand. I will eats them all! Queso dip.
-
That's a terrific motivator to get fit and healthy--your grandson! Feel free to add me--that goes for anyone reading this! I try to applaud your efforts and motivate you when you're in a rut as often as I can!

27 year old checking in. Anyone, feel free to add me! I have logged everyday since late April. Open diary to friends. Would like to lose these last few lbs. They are the toughest!
