I think having friends on the site keeps you accountable....it also helps you share excercise ideas and weight loss tips....and general chats. You'll be suprised to find out how many people are experiencing the same things as you! Feel free to add me if you like

I've just completed day 7 of level 1. I found the first few days extremely tough going....I went to day 4 with no break. Took a days rest then started day 5. Belive it or not my endurance was up and I was actually enjoying the excercise! So I would say once you start listen to your body...if you need a day to rest then…

Its great that you are doing this with your Mom - great encouragement to each other!. I am on day 6 of the 30 day shred, still on level 1, I'm definately a lot better at it now than I was on day 1(endurance wise), and am looking forward to level 2....although I have checked ahead and it looks SOOOOOOOO much harder than…

I started on Monday, so I have done 3 days so far! first day was good, 2nd day I was a bit sore so the strength training felt hard. Today, the cardio was hard! I guess if you put your mind to it and keep going anything is possible  Havn't seen any results yet - its still early days but I'm going to keep on with it!

Hi, I also use the BMI as a "measure" of how well I'm doing. I finally moved out of the obese category and into the overweight category this weekend! Still have a long way to go before I reach "normal", but I fully intend to get there! You're welcome to add me as a friend.

....hmmmm...now there's a thought! Don't work in a hospital, but do work in a building with 28 floors. I think I might just try this!

You shouldn't feel embarrassed at all! I can definitely see the difference.....especially in your stomach. Well done!

I'm in South Africa and have the same problem! However, I have started a mini SA database...means a lot of food logging tho
-
I do exactly the same! I just don't have the time to it all in one stretch, so at the moment its 20 mins in the morning and 20 mins in the evening....

I was in the same boat! I work incredibly long hours, and have an 7 year old daughter. I'm up at 5.30am and can leave the office anything up to 7pm, then there is the work I still have to finish off at home (I know...what happened to work life balance!!!). I was not getting to gym, but then again, there was a lot of things…

I use bio oil. Doesn't make them disappear but definitely makes them look better

I'm the same as alazurus...when I use my pedometer, I only log when I have specifically set out to walk for excercise....eg Sunday morning I set out to walk for 40 mins, and logged this as excercise on MFP. When I have my pedometer on and am just doing what I normally do in a day, I don't log this as excercise

Have you tried measuring your body fat% ? you seem to be working out a lot, and maybe you are building lean muscle which weighs more than fat - hence you would not see a real movement on the scale, but would feel it in your clothes and general well being Just a thought....I find that moving on BMI/body fat/clothes size etc…
-
I weigh in once a week, first thing in the morning...I think the most important thing is that you weigh in at the same time each weigh in as opposed to the time of day......mornings are just easier for me!

The site was also reccomended to me by a friend, and it has been the best way I have found to keep myself on track so far! Good luck on your weight loss journey!
