  • I do cardio 5 days a week and lifting once. I average about 100g of protein daily.
  • I love my little $12 Sportline pedometer from walmart. It counts steps, miles, active time, and gives a calorie estimate You input your own personal stats to calculate it all. I clip it to my undies so no one even knows I'm wearing one. It doesn't connect to any gadgets or tech - It's just a simple pedometer. I manually…
  • IHeartRadio and some meditative thinking...
  • I don't like the earbuds that you have to push inside your ear, so I use ones that wrap around the ears instead (without actually going in).

  • I'm sorry you're being treated that way :( Is it your friends that are saying these things to you, or strangers? If its your friends, then they don't seem much like friends to me. If its strangers, have you noticed their appearance? Almost any time someone makes a comment to me about my weight, they're twice my size - and…
  • Its not about how long it takes to get back into it, its how you do it. It can be a matter of a day or a few weeks. However, from personal experience, if I start feeling that my exercise is becoming a burden, I slow my pace down. Start with a relaxed jog, do it to feel the breeze or meditate or whatever. Don't focus on…
  • breakfast #1 today was a serving of old fashioned oats with stevia and cinnamon. #2 (eating as I type) is an egg, slice of bacon, half slice of cheese, and a slice of whole wheat bread made into a sandwich, with a serving of green beans, a greek yogurt cup, and an apple.
  • I had WW a few years ago and ended up cancelling (thank goodness it was a trial!) to use MFP instead. Its essentially the same setup/plan, its just here MFP is straight forward with calories and macros, where WW hides all that behind a point system. I'm proud to say that MFP has helped me lose over 100 lbs!
  • I personally do not think it is unrealistic given your height. I am also 26 and I weigh 105 at 5'4".
  • I actually can't recall having a weird craving after mj... my brain must be fried :D
  • If I'm being really strict, yes... it really depends on how big of a nibble, really lol. If its just 1 chip or 2 then no.
  • Nuts are my weakness... Its hard to contain myself around them. Why must they be so calorie dense!!!
  • I use a SportLine pedometer I got from walmart for $12. It tracks my steps, gives me an estimated calorie burn, distance, and active time. I like it because 1. I'm cheap. 2. All I really want to know is how much time I spend walking around. The steps, calorie, and distance are irrelevant to me, as I just use MFP's calorie…
  • Damn... thats all I've got to say! lol
  • Thank you everyone for your kind words! I am so happy to have inspired others. :) @kittygonzalez3511 Thanks friend! I had the same mentality as I was losing, thinking and saying aloud "I'll be fat forever..." but, yea its just like one day you realize you've done it and you will be so proud that you stuck to it! :) @bfanny…
  • Plan out a schedule/routine you can stick with every day (or most days, you need some rest days after all!). Set a designated time in your day specifically for exercise. In your case, you may benefit from morning workouts, since you're tired in the evenings.
  • I've only been maintaining for about 3-4 months now, but I still weigh myself and record it daily, and don't plan on stopping, either. Sometimes the scale fluctuates up to 5 lbs or so, and yes it can be discouraging, but its better to see that number and know what you need to do instead of stop weighing altogether and end…
  • first my stomach, butt, and legs all pretty much at the same rate. Then after about 30 lbs down my face started slimming considerably. The last to go were arms, love handles, and lower belly fat (still have a bit). If I get really underweight, it seems to come off my butt.
  • I exercise just about every day (sometimes twice in a day) for at least an hour. Mostly cardio on the elliptical, and sometimes extra bike rides during the week, and lifting at least once. I don't feel over-trained on my current regimen, so I believe you are not exercising too much at the moment. I used to do 2 hour cardio…

  • If you wanted to lose weight badly enough, then you won't eat them. Its that simple.
  • I use my elliptical for an hour after class or before work, anywhere between 5-7 times a week. I try to lift at least 1 day of the week, usually on a day that I do not have class or work. Since its summertime, I try to get some extra exercise in with biking.
  • motley crue- kickstart my heart boston- foreplay/long time
  • I feel you. I can eat about 1900-2000 daily with my current exercise regimen, but I'm usually eating between 1400-1800. I'd rather it be going down slowly than going up slowly, you know? I suppose you could do that, and if it dips down too far, then indulge in a pint of ice cream or a big dinner (or just do that every 2…
  • waist trainers will not change your body's composition, or the way fat is held (or in your case, hanging). They can also have dangerous consequences if used incorrectly/too often.
  • When I marinate my meat (cooking for two) I halve the total amount I used on all of the meat. So, if I used 2 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce, then I'll log 1 tbsp. I know I most likely did not consume a tbsp of it, but I would rather overestimate my calories in than underestimate it.
  • Thats great you are supporting her with her struggles. I was obese throughout my childhood. I really wish I had someone by my side supporting me and helping me lose the weight, so I am happy to see that she has someone that cares. Could she perhaps be eating extra food when you aren't around? Does she eat school cafeteria…
