And strawberries!

2 mugs of coffee with SF cinnamon brown sugar syrup and milk Big bowl of cottage cheese with salsa and quest loaded taco chips, crumbled Thermos of chai with milk Chicken a la king with egg white noodles Apple pie yogurt
-
I use SF syrup if I want the sweetness, plus ultra-filtered 2% milk. Gives me a big mug of coffee for like 30 calories, with a little bonus dash of protein.
-
Today: 2 big mugs that are half coffee and half of a chocolate protein milk. Cottage cheese with chili lime quest chips and salsa (note: I will not buy the chili lime ones again) Leftover steak with a frozen fire-roasted veggie mix Apple pie Greek yogurt Chai with milk x2
-
Yeah, like I said I will have to see how the second container is, and try buying it elsewhere next time (annoying because I went to the one store specifically because my usual store claims to carry it but is out of stock 90% of the time)

Tis time for me to see my provider again. My TSH (within the last 2 weeks) is 4.23, which is "normal". I'm medicated on 50mcg of levothyroxine daily. It was 6.6 when I was first treated and 4.27 after a month on levothyroxine. It's been 10 months since I started medicating for it, and I'm noticing I've needed more…

2 cups of coffee with a 30g protein chocolate Fairlife milk split between them, with some SF hazelnut syrup. Yum.

Minor annoyance of the day(or days, because I won't eat the whole thing in one day). I opened my newest container of Good Culture 2% Cottage cheese, which I love enough to eat plain, and it was wetter with somewhat larger curds than usual. This is off-putting. It is edible, but alot more comparable to buying a cheaper…

I am super jealous of that vacation. Stuff like that is in our future plans. We got 3 kids graduating college (and me) in the next 2years, then freedom!

I've tried repeatedly. The only way I can tolerate shrimp is the little cold ones with super horseradish cocktail sauce (which ends up higher carb than I want) and the aforementioned tempura. Shrimp otherwise literally makes me gag.
-
I wish I could make myself like shrimp in some way other than tempura deep fried with a nice sweet & sour sauce. Tha bang for your buck both in actual money and for protein per calories is so good
-
Lol Pav. I'm tan everywhere but where a women's one piece swimsuit covers, so my legs are golden
-
Today's food: 2 cups of coffee with just a bit of half and half Strawberry lemonade protein drink Cottage cheese with cucumbers, tomato and onion. Seasoned with red wine vinegar and s/p/g Small grilled sirloin steak with sauteed mushrooms Key lime yogurt. Chai with milk

They're not, just unsightly.
-
Varicose vein. And you, my friend, are the color of skim milk, lol
-
Cream, they don't hurt, yet. I'd probably be looking at something called a stab phlebectomy. I haven't met with a vascular surgeon/doctor yet, but as part of my job I've worked with patient post off from procedures like this.
-
So today I ate the exact same things as yesterday, but I'll have an apple pie yogurt instead of key lime.
-
I've had varicose veins for a long time, they're just more obvious now that they have less flesh to hide in.
-
I have caved in and am going to have to wear compression socks on the daily. Certainly for my 12 hr shifts and I am wearing compression sleeves right now (calf cover, no ankle/foot) because my varicose veins are crazy and if I'm going to see a vascular doc about them, I need to be able to honestly claim I'm doing what I can

I had pounded the chicken pretty thin, so I only brined for 2 hours. If I am brining something like a whole turkey (which I did at Thanksgiving) or a pork butt/shoukder, I go overnight, so 8-12 hrs. Brining thinner cuts of chicken or pork, I keep it shorter, or it can conversely toughen the meat.
-
I brined chicken breast (pounded thin) with chipotle, garlic, and black pepper, then seasoned with a BBQ blend spice mix and grilled quickly. Super juicy. Also made a quick coleslaw with shredded cabbage and a lemon vinaigrette salad dressing I had in the fridge. Earlier today I had a large coffee for breakfast with half a…

Cottage Cheese (2%), low-fat (2%) Greek yogurt, either plain, or I like either the Too Good brand cups (black cherry, peach, lemon, mixed berry) or light n fit greek yogurt cups (more dessert like, my favorites are the apple pie and the key lime, but most of the flavors are good, of the ones I've tried I only didn't like…

I use tap to pay from my phone like 90% of the time the past few years. Been in 4 or 5 different hockey arenas, no fraud.
-
Chicken a la king over egg white noodles. Apple pie light and fit greek yogurt Decaf SF cinnamon brown sugar latte made with ultra-filtered 2% milk Now I am relaxing with sleepy time tea, need to try to get to sleep at reasonable hour, I have a derm appt in the morning.
-
No, it's just because I don't normally eat alot of fiber and consumed 18g in one sitting.
-
Oof, the fiber bomb I consumed yesterday (2 slices of keto bread) has now given me some good lower gut cramping. It's my own fault, but damn.
-
Weird food combo I just ate, that was actually freaking delicious for no reason: 1/2 cup cottage cheese mixed with 1/2 bag quest loaded taco chips
-
I like the Built Puff bars, brownie batter in particular. They are occasional for me. My husband eats a Barebell protein bar for lunch on the daily: salty peanut, creamy crisp, chocolate dough, peanut butter, cookies and cream, or cookies and caramel. I have tried them, the texture and taste is pretty good.
-
I got called out of work tonight, so instead of eating my chicken a la king over noodles like last night, I toasted a couple slices of keto 5 Seed bread and ate it like an open top sandwich. Basically fiber bombed myself (ig of fiber per slice). It was delicious, but we will see if I suffer regret later, lol

My daughter made this: Lemon shortbread crust, raspberry jam, raspberries, lemon shortbread crumble on top. Turned out amazing.
