The recipe as I made it for the jalepeno poppers was 460 calories, 12.2g carbs, 32.8g fat, 26.6g protein. If I decreased the cheese (like I said, I ate the remainders), I could get it to 352 cals, 10 carbs, 24 fat and 22 protein and keep all the flavor.

@Yoolypr I like jalepeno jelly with a smear of plain cream cheese on a small, salty cracker.
-
@PAV8888 yeah, like that. I actually like them made with the lower fat cheeses and slightly leaner bacon. I feel like they hold together better vs the filling just oozing out everywhere, lol. I totally could have got away with less cream cheese, like 2oz, but I'd already mixed it with the shredded cheese when I realized…

So I saw something online today and got a hankering, and I had to stop by the store anyway, so I got the stuff to make jalepeno poppers. 3 jalepeno about 3" long each 1/3 less fat cream cheese Center Cut bacon (already had) Reduced fat shredded Cheddar (already had). Cut the peppers in half, removed the stems and seeds.…

@PAV888 No lettuce, though I've done big mac salads that way in the past, using shredded cheese vs super melty American. That's more of a cold dish though and I was feeling hot meals this week. I did have veggies but that's not an exciting "meal idea" lol. I think next week I am doing something similar, but Taco style.…

Work lunches I've been packing, calling them big Mac bowls: Lean ground beef Crumbles seasoned with salt/pepper/garlic blend, slice of good melty American cheese, 10g thousand island dressing, 10g mustard, finely diced onion and pickle. I add the pickles and onions after microwaving. The melted cheese/condiments makes a…

Lord, I miss Habitant pea soup with ham. That was where it was at when I was growing up. Never found anything comparable here in the southern US. My dinner tonight was yummy! 5 slices of Canadian bacon diced, scrambled with two eggs and three whites, reduced-fat cheddar and chives! A good plateful for just under 500…

Type 2 diabetics can become completely insulin dependent once their pancreas is damaged enough. I'm an RN, I work in a hospital setting and I routinely (like multiple times a day) deal with patients who did not manage their type 2 diabetes appropriately and are now completely insulin dependent. They often continue to not…

I made a French Onion meatloaf on Sunday for my dinner and my 4 work lunches this week. It came out a little dry (sadness) so Monday I bought some better than bouillon beef gravy and added two tbsp of gravy mixed with a little water to thin it to each lunch portion! Genius. Adds like 15 calories and makes a world of…

I worked nights so I got off work at 5:30am, lol. Got up at noon, breakfast is coffee with half and half. Ive got a work Christmas party at 5pm so I'm just letting it slide til then

1500 for me would include 2 cups of coffee with half and half (about 90 cal) 3 eggs and 2 whites (200ish cal), scrambled with reduced fat cheese (90), mushrooms, onions, peppers (30 cal), done with non-stick spray (27cal for 3 g). Add 6 slices of center cut bacon (about 150 calories). 6oz of raspberries (100cal). That's…

Sirloin Steak. Rare, pan-seared. Cauliflower mash with butter, sour cream and chives. Probably a Jello (black cherry or lime) for dessert.

Lunch was panera 10 Vegetable Soup, into which I dumped a side of the chicken they use on salads. I was at work and needed low-cal but filling choices. Dinner was a big ole plate of cheesy eggs (3 eggs, 3 whites, slice and a half of American cheese) and 5 slices of thick center cut bacon, plus an iced coffee with zero…

Breakfast in a couple hours (first meal of my day, night shifting it) will be 4oz of mushrooms sauteed with just a little butter and about 100g of leftover Sirloin steak, plus 2 eggs and one white, scrambled.
-
Tonight was medium-rare Sirloin Steak, mushrooms sauteed in butter with thyme, oven roasted asparagus with garlic and s&p. Followed by 8 miniature Heaths, a fun-sized Mounds and a fun-sized Almond Joy over the remainder of the evening. Yes, I saved 460 calories for Halloween candy, lol. No, I don't regret it, no, I didn't…

Ooh. I could totally do an egg McMuffin with no butter and extra egg and canadian bacon! Never thought of that before. 370 calories, 31 carbs, 17 fat, 26 protein!

I grilled chicken thighs, half with a light balsamic marinade, half with a spice blend. Side salad with fixings to start, green beans sauteed with mushrooms and onions to go with the chicken. I also had two vodka/gatorade zero lemon drinks, and a fun size 100 grand bar.
-
I didn't take a pic, but tonight was a big plate of green beans and mushrooms sauteed with a little butter and garlic and joined by a baked, bone in chicken breast. Breakfast was a local diner's "protein plate": 4 scrambled eggs and choice of two meats... I went with bacon and canadian bacon.

Also what I do
-
Juicy lucy (American cheese inside a hamburger patty), no bun, 2 slices of bacon, diced onions and pickles, yellow mustard. Cucumber, tomato and feta salad.
-
It doesn't really matter as long as you use a correct entry. Raw for raw, cooked for cooked.
-
Grilled chicken thighs (boneless/skinless) in a marinade (sugar-free "maple" syrup, course ground dijon mustard, soy sauce, loads of minced garlic, some red pepper flakes and a heap of green beans with jist a touch of real butter and salt.

Why would turkey breast cutlets have any carbs?
-
If cooking individual pieces of meat where I can keep track of which one's mine, I usually use raw weight, because that is what the label is providing information for. Exceptions include bacon, which gives nutrition for cooked weight and states so.

https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/most-obese-countries Mexico weighs in at 28.9% obesity... Which puts it outside the top 25.

Tonight was b/s chicken thighs with a homemade greek spice blend, grilled, and butter and shallot sauteed hreen beans. Tomorrow, steak and a big side salad... Iceburg lettuce and baby spring mix, english cucumber, roma tomato (end of the week veg) and greek yogurt ranch or light balsamic, not sure yet.
-
Scrambled eggs and whites with ham, cheese and chives, couple roma tomatoes
-
Why not 1 piece of toast with pb and 2 pieces of bacon, and have both?
-
I eat eggs because I love them. I add whites for low calorie bulk, but given my druthers, on just a taste basis, I wouldn't. I am repeating yesterday's scramble today.
-
I use carton egg whites but find the acceptable ratio for me is 1:1 and my standard is 2 eggs and 2 whites or 3 eggs and 2 whites. I tried 3 whites to 2 eggs and it was wlway to bland, just off to me. Lunch today was 2 eggs and 1 white, 1oz of Cabot Light Cheddar, 2oz ham, 2 oz asparagus, 2 oz mushrooms, all scrambled…
