A thing I did this morning:
-
I was going to go do leg day but then I got distracted with a task that, while it needed doing, was not urgent, which ballooned into cleaning out my whole closet and an old armoire that we replaced with a dresser and wall mounted TV 6(!) years ago, but which has remained. I discarded ruthlessly, and made a large haul to…

Okay, so the rankings now go: 1. Caramel apple pie (so freaking good) 2. Key lime pie (also very good) 3. Boston cream pie (tasty!) 4. Tiramisu (acceptable, probably won't buy again)
-
@ninerbuff I am a RN. I do trust the science, which is why I took the drastic step of surgery after what feels like a lifetime of trying to lose. You can't deny that many people tend to view obesity through a morally judgemental lens though.

I am going to rank Dannon light + fit yogurt flavors I have this far eaten: 1. Caramel apple pie (so freaking good) 2. Key lime pie (also very good 3. Tiramisu (acceptable, probably won't buy again) Flavors I have and will rank once I have tried: Strawberry cheesecake Toasted marshmallow Boston cream pie Flavors I want to…

My first post here. As @ninerbuff says, I love myself unconditionally. Now, as some of you know, I had the vertical sleeve gastrectomy ie WLS. One of my pet peeves is seeing someone I haven't in awhile, as I look radically different, and having them comment "Oh, you must feel so much better!" For awhile I would just sort…

I work night shift. 3 days a week, 1/2 to 3/4 of my intake is after 6pm. Timing, as others have said, is really irrelevant.
-
I am 175cm. 175g of protein is way more than I need.
-
If it helps, I've lost about 200lbs and I still sometimes feel fat, and shocked when I can fit into "regular" clothes (vs 3-4xl).
-
I log sugar-free Werther's caramels, but not sugar-free cough drops :#

From the perspective of someone in the medical field, that sounds about as good as you could have hoped for given the circumstances, Yooly.

Me neither. You can do it through the web browser from your phone but not from the app

I was feeling nostalgic, so I made turkey a la king from leftovers. Thank goodness it's actually delicious and wasn't just a nostalgia dish that ended up tasting bad and wasting good leftover turkey, lol

Thanksgiving leftovers plate

The turkey was amazing. My daughters are fighting over who gets to take leftovers home, lol. My alternative bread stuffing was a hard fail, went in the trash. Everything else was delicious. I had a small scoop each of mashed potatoes and mashed carrot/rutabaga, a small potion of green beans, 2 stuffed mushrooms and 2oz of…

Sweet and spicy pork with fire roasted peppers and onions. And because I only had a small portion of that left, some strawberries and cottage cheese.
-
Last night, tonight and tomorrow: Green leaf lettuce, grilled taco seasoned chicken thigh, copious Pico De Gallo, Greek yogurt, avacado, shredded cheddar.
-
Chobani Zero sugar key lime pie (won't buy that again) and an iced coffee with vanilla protein shake for creamer.
-
Only 5 people Pav. We will happily eat leftovers all weekend though. The stuffing and the mash and the mushrooms each occupy a 9*12 aluminum pan. The green beans only take up an 8*8 pan. The turkey is only 11lbs (taking out the giblets and backbone for spatchcocking will take it down to 9.5 or 10) and the ham is about 3.
-
Gotta prep some Thanksgiving dishes tomorrow (I am scheduled to work Wednesday night but hoping we close). Stuffing (bread, onions, celery, sage, butter, bone broth, loads of sage, black pepper) Sauteed green beans (just French green beans, steamed in bag less time than called for, then dumped in a hot pan with bacon fat…

Not gonna lie, they're expensive. But since I had to focus so hard on protein, they're a great noodle substitute.
-
I had egg white noodles with sweet and spicy pork, fire roasted peppers and onions (from a freezer bag) and soy sauce and scallions.
-
Tonight's bowl was egg white noodles, sweet and spicy pork, fire roasted peppers (red, green, yellow and poblano) and onions, scallions and soy sauce.

A kiwi, some raspberries and a lemon Italian Ice Protein drink.

Yeah. Today was a small apple and about 1/4 cup restaurant mashed potatoes, plus some sauteed Spinach. Tomorrow I have an added kiwi fruit to a couple oz of raspberries, plus the red peppers and mushrooms I was already putting in my eggs and the frozen fire-roasted) pepper and onion mix in my dinner (sweet and spicy pork…

My appt went great. I was 164.2lbs this morning, I've held onto my muscle mass well, body fat is supposedly 25%. I got the green light to up my calories and carbs a bit, so I changed my settings. I just ate an entire (small) Rave Apple. I ate half plain, then added cinnamon to the rest. My first apple in a year! I also…
