Thank you so much, guys! This is super helpful. In regards to the shoes, I usually wear New Balance Minimus to lift which has very little sole. I took the video on vacation and didn't think about the shoes but in retrospect realize it probably really changed my squat stance. Thanks again!

@Kr15by, thank you!!

Some ideas: YMCA'a usually take babies as young as yours, if you have one around you. Walking w baby in stroller or carrier. XBOX fitness: zumba. I also was doing the lifting program New Rules of Lifting for Women at home with dumbbells. Trade with a friend and take turns watching babies while you exercise. These are all…

I did low bar today for the first time and it felt a lot better. With high bar, the bar was pinching a nerve or something

We recently got a Rita's in our small town. I had a custard twist cone, it was pretty good but a little over priced.

Another question for you guys. What do you do on your rest days? I'm finding it hard to take breaks since I really enjoy working out and going to the gym (my break from the kids). But I don't want to burn out. I'm going to run today and do some HIIT at the gym but hope it doesn't affect my lifts tomorrow.

How old are your kids? I used the double jogger a lot, I've also taken them to parks and jogged around there while they played. If they're older, they can bike on paths while you run.

You're welcome to add me if you want to see what I eat. Eggs, beans, salads, veggie burgers, cottage cheese and yogurt are all staples. Also whole grain quesadillas and nuts. Can't get any cheaper than rice & beans for meals! eta, I also make veggie fried rice and veg soups a lot.

Wow! Incredible! You look amazing!

@pmm3437, thanks, I think you're right. I tried holding it lower yesterday but think it's still high. That diagram is really helpful, thanks again.

Sometimes. We'll go for the kids mainly, I try to do no more than once a week preferably less. More when we're traveling or moving.

Wow - huge difference! Nice work!

I'm finishing my 2d week of SL and I really love it so far. My only challenge has been that I have what kind of feels like a pinched nerve where I think the barbell hits for squats (upper back, lower neck). It's not painful enough to go to a doctor but I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong? Since I'm new to the barbell, will…

Wow, I can't wrap my head around how people can run 100 miles! So much respect!

Well it's a personal choice, of course, but I'm the same height/weight and have been recomping here now for a while. I've weighed less but was not as strong or balanced. After training for my last half marathon, I weighed 137 and had strong legs but no upper body stregnth and wore about the same size I do now. So I'd say…

I'd suggest the Old Navy compression capris. I feel like you're going to be way too hot in pants. The compression capris have a wide waistband that you can pull up. I feel like it keeps everything in and is very comfortable.

Cottage cheese, string cheese, eggs, peanut butter, chocolate milk. Try carrots or apples dipped in peanut butter, very filling, cheap and nutritious.

Awesome! You look so happy, healthy & STRONG! Go, you!

I just go to bed. BUT I always go over my calories and eat around 2000 a day so I know I'm eating enough, I don't need any snacks before bed ;) If you have cals left and you're hungry - eat, girl!

Well if you want sturdy, we have the Lemond RevMaster. It's held up great but takes up a bit of room. I like spin bikes because I occasionally take spin classes at the gym.

I like Emergenc packets for pre/during workout. It has electrolytes and I think the vitamins give me an energy boost, but it could be just psychological :)
-
Incredible! You rocked that outfit!

I love that I'm more athletic & confident now. I'd always wanted to learn to surf and finally tried it recently and paddled out and and popped up on the board each try no problem! This wouldn't have been the case before I was in shape!

1) Is it possible to do maintenance through body pump and trx without any "real" lifting? (It will probably be slow, but I just really like group classes) Maintenence, sure, but a true recomp, probably not. Last year, I did lower my body fat but maintain my weight by doing body pump and TRX but didn't see significant…

I like Trader Joe's Organic European Style.

I like both but mainly just for relaxation, not for any health benefits. Just mental health I guess :)

I'm also newer to lifting and have been experiencing both. I've found that yoga helps and also aids with mobilty and form for lifting. Can you take a yoga class at your gym?

Wow, that's a huge accomplishment! Congrats! You're beautiful!!
