  • Thanks for these answers! I am going to request the ultrasound. She did not mention anything about endometriosis. I'm also a little concerned because my mother had uterine cancer when she was in her mid 20s so when she said she suspected "something might be going on" in my uterus, I became more worried than maybe I should.…
  • I would not recommend a Fitbit. I have worn a Jawbone UP2 for a year and just recently wanted to give the Fitbit Charge HR a try for the continuous heart rate option. I wore both for a full day and found that my Fitbit was saying I walked over 4,000 more steps than my my Jawbone. I would move my arm or roll over in bed and…
  • Pre logging helps me too! Once I have that plan in place for the following day, it makes it easier to stick to and stay accountable to myself.
  • Thank you all for the info! I know I will have to play with it since we are all different but this is a great start!
  • My macros are: Carbs: 19 grams/5% Protein: 75 grams/20% Fat: 126 grams/75% And my calories are 1,510.
  • Not really anything noticeable to me. My upper body seems to have changed a little over the past few months, but not much budging around the waist, etc.
  • The Atkins bars and treats come in handy when these cravings strike. Their products are kind of pricey though. If you like coffee, you can use the sugar free syrups (Google Skinny Syrups and you'll be amazed at their variety.) I also go for 2 tbsp of peanut butter also.
  • Welcome back! I too am familiar with the siren's call!
  • Thank you!!
  • Thank you @ki4eld I was starting to wonder if it was salt related. Thank you for the link!!
  • If you are a coffee fan, bullet proof coffee can really help push your fat content up! You can tweak it how you like and it makes the coffee smooth and keeps you energized and full!
  • Thank you all for the ideas! The bullet proof hot chocolate sounds delicious! Definitely giving that a try!!
  • I also wonder that as well. I also wonder if switching to a pill that only gives you your period 4 times a year would help?
  • Ugh. I'm on my placebo week and definite experiencing a normal type TOM now. Before it was just light spotting. How long till you guys stopped spotting or even out somewhat? This is really annoying :(
  • Thank you! Thanks for the suggestions!
  • Sorry I didn't realize that was something you could make public. I think it is now.
  • Thank you! I've always been careful with weight training out of fear that it will just make me bigger. However, muscle does burn fat so this is worth a try as well! I do try my very best to log everything. I'll start with weight training and monitor those measurements. Thanks for the tip!
  • That's what I'm really hoping that my new doc puts me on. I've read Suzy Cohen's books on Hypothyroidism and she explains it all so well and recommends natural thyroid hormones or a combo of T4 and T3 because most people cannot effectively convert T4 into T3. T3 is really the most important factor, so I'm hoping to go for…
  • Thank you to those who have replied! Thank you for referring me to the existing groups, I have posted my questions there as well. As far as blood tests, I'm planning on having my Free T3, Free T4 and antibodies checked in addition to my TSH. Are there any others that your docs test for? My GP only ever tested for TSH, so…
