I an miserable it I don"t get a small breakfast. And I take it out on everybody! My teenager, however, can"t bear the though of breakfast and my hubby can go either way. Everyone is different. Listen to your own body and it will tell you what it needs.

Yes! I focus on proteins, it can be challenging though. Fish like tuna or salmon are great additions to your diet.

I slice a large zucchini, yellow squash, and an onion and saute them with a large can of diced tomatoes. It's cheap and makes about 6 cups/servings of delicious low cal goodness!

I have cheat days once a week and have made good progress. These are not days where I eat everything in site, but merely days where I can have those few foods I have been looking forward to enjoying that are not especially healthy. I was thin for many years and then I quit smoking and gained a ton of weight almost overnight it seemed! That coupled with my menopausal changes kept the weight on. For me, this is recapturing my lifestyle, rather than changing it.:tongue:

I find that eating smaller, more frequent meals (6-7 a day, roughly every 2 hours until 8pm) helps me take off weight, even if I eat the same things I normally would in 3 sittings. I think it helps speed up the metabolism and it certainly gives me more energy.

I am dieting alone, no one else in my family or friends circle has joined me in dieting, but my husband supports my new lifestyle and cooks whatever I ask for dinner.
