  • raven symone! i hadn't seen much about her since her "that's so raven" days, but whatever she's been doing she looks great! (tried to post a picture but i couldnt figure it out so here's a link)…
  • you look great!! awesome progress:happy:
  • Thanks for the input! I think I will try to go back to being a bit more exact, especially if I'm at my house and it's easier to control and see what is going my food. I'll leave being more lenient for when I'm at a friend's or going out to eat, so I don't drive myself or the people I'm with nuts.
  • I was so glad to see this topic!! I have really wanted to try juicing but didn't know how it would affect my crohn's. Awesome to see other people are having success and I definitely want to go for it now. Thanks for the info :)

  • I LOST it at that part!!!
  • Try try try to see a dietician! I went through a similar recovery and had to gain weight. I saw one and she recommended foods that would help weight gain but also just how to eat more nutritiously too. They can also help you find a plan that works for you and answer the questions that you are have. Unless it's recommended,…
  • He looks GREAT! And has a wonderful wife to support him! Take it as a compliment that his results are so amazing people can't believe it :) dedication pays off!
  • I love this story! 90 minutes is amazing! I made it to 30 yesterday, the longest I've been able to go in one go so far. Former potato here trying to change too :) I like how you shared the new foods you eat too and your healthier diet, all around sucess!
  • At 5'5 she would be underweight. Like the posts above me said I think explaining BMI to her if she doesn't know about it would be a good idea. Maybe try to explain the consequences of being underweight and how much more beneficial just making healthy choices can be. I think it's common for girls her age to be self…
  • I understand how you feel! It really hit me when I went on vacation and wore shorts for the first time since last summer. I gained weight over the winter, and even though I never really thought about my thigh gap, I noticed once I lost it. I'm the same age (and on tumblr too much) so I understand the whole "need for thigh…
  • THIS!! I think my natural muffin is caused because i have a big pelvic bone then it goes in a bit but then my thigh bones are stickin right out again. There's just this natural dip there, and it doesn't help that my weight goes to my hips. Pants are a nightmare! They just wanna hang out in that dip and make me look mega…
  • I 100% percent agree that people should not be using My FItness Pal as a tool to encourage an ED. I think it's important ask when you are concerned about their health to ask. Like you said, if someone is eating a very low amount and doing so continually or not trying to stop it's a major risk to their health. Asking them…
  • I love frozen smucker's uncrustables pb&j's, my favorite part is the frozen peanut butter. Not to mention dino egg oatmeal, and I can easily finish a box of lucky charms. I think my weakness is eating food aimed at younger kids haha!
  • 18 and 5'5 as well! Feel free to add :)
  • Just saw you posted this after I finished typing mine. Thought the exact same thing!
  • It's great to see more body positivity in the community! Sometimes I feel like My Fitness Pal is more My Weight loss Pal. Size and numbers don't determine health! I think it's great for people on a weight loss journey, but it's sad how some people can be very judgmental. Sometimes I want to just point out to people that…
  • Finding it hard to eat enough calories isn't killing yourself. Finding it hard to eat less calories isn't killing yourself either. If you realize you need to make changes and are trying, finding it hard to make those changes is not killing yourself.
  • I'm having the same problem, I didn't even realize it until i started logging my food with MFP. What I've been doing is trying to eat more frequently instead of more at one time. For me it helps to just get calories spread out through the day for energy, without feeling sick trying to eat too much food at one time. I never…
  • I have IBD (Crohn's Disease) but in the same family :) I'm trying to eat healthier too, I'm in remission but eating bad really upsets my stomach and sometimes causes flares. It's unique for everyone but some foods that generally seem to give a lot of people trouble are foods that are fatty, fried, or spicy. Anything heavy…
  • seems silly but a belly button piercing :) of course the best reward will be being physically fit, but my tummy area has always been a issue for me so i feel like once i feel happy with my progress and hard work i'll be confident enough to add a little attention to where i used to be embarrassed!
  • Awesome job, you look incredible! And not only have you dropped the weight, but you look very fit and strong!
