  • Cellulite is fat. You are going to have to build some muscle with some resistance training, and do some intervals. I was way skinny fat about 12 weeks ago, and this worked for me. I still have my trouble spots, but not nearly as bad. Read through some forums/search engine searches on the best way to burn fat, while…
  • Agree with the above....I try to get 1 gram per my body weight. However, if you want to lose weight, I heard it is 1 lb per your body weight goal. In my case, I just want to lose "fat", not necessarily "weight". Therefore, I watch my protein intake, keep my carbs lower than the MFP default, and watch my fat (but healthy…
  • If you own a home, or can use the ceiling anchor it looks like a good workout ( I rent, and wouldn't be able to install it in our current place). But, as far as being able to travel with it (my husband travels a lot), I don't know if you can travel with it well. Perhaps there are modifications in the the dvd set. You…
  • Probably sugar that you find in fruit...you still have to be easy on sugar. For instance, it's better to eat a regular salad than a fruit salad. If you are going to use fructose (assuming a company is selling it as a sugar alternative...although..it really isn't, because it is just sugar), then you have to watch your fruit…

  • We use resistance bands...just make sure you have an attachment that you can use on the door. We have a door gym...but in the new place we are in...we don't trust it. They will show modifications for resistance bands. That is the most inexpensive route if you don't want to buy all the stuff. However, I do recommend a…

  • Ok, I am not a nutritionalist......but look at your body this way: In a perfect world, the body is composed of the greatest employees in the world. Their primary duty is to keep you alive and healthy at a predetermined blue print. However, in order for your body to do the work--you have to do a few things, i.e. provide the…
  • I'm a lanky 5'3.75.... I'm 120--working towards droppng to 115lb. Then I'll work on adding muscle. I like my weight now, but not my body comp.
  • Oh Plyo's...you burn at least 500 cals doing it...I remember tracking it with my bodybugg...it is a great workout. With P90X and P90X plus...I try my hardest...if I can keep up I can..if I can't...I just keep moving...
  • I'm doing a hybrid version....but I started off this week with Total Body, and I did Interval Plus today.... My husband is doing the P90X plus lean version, and when he is home...I just do whatever he is doing for that day.
  • tootsie rolls...6 of them equal about 120 cals...enough to satisfy my sweet tooth...(tootsie midgets).
  • Get adequate protein, intervals, full body circuit training...
  • Switch your workout to circuit style full body, full monty workouts. For example, I do a cardio/resistance blend (P90X and P90X plus). Because women have stubborn fat, almost everything has to have resistance and cardio mix. This is the way many figure models train to get super lean. So change up your workout, manipulate…
  • You look hot mama!!! Congrats...!!
  • Hey hun! You can do it!!
  • 28 y/o--123lbs 5'4....I'm changing my body composition which changed after 2 babies. Trying to lose fat, and replace it with muscle. So, I play a balacing act of gaining muscle and weight (from muscle) and then slim down to ensure I'm losing fat. So, it's p90X cardio/plyo's/kenpo...strength training three times a week…
  • Thanks you all! I thought it was weird, and it did not make sense until I read that peanuts "make ya go". My protien needs to jump up a bit with HIIT and circuit training...thanks all!!
  • I recently laid off of coke zero this week....just to see experiement and see what happens...I think I'll stick to green tea, my 2 cups of coffee a day, and water.
  • This may sound silly...but my bodybugg calorie count jumps when I am outside for a bit. I think it may be due to my body working to warm me up--but I don't want to pass on "bro science". Also, I have gained some muscle, and now I burn more calories even if I am chilling.
