The War of the Ring has ended. We have reached Bag End with a large party of Hobbits. We leave for the Grey Havens.

Mile 1524. We are continuing northwest toward Bree. We can't see Bree-hill as it is hidden in a curtain of rain.

Mile 1476. The road is curving slightly to the northwest. The northern horizon is filled with marshes.

Mile 1415: I'm passing the first foothills below Weathertop. Looking for you Byrdiebee...tea and second breakfast would be awesome!

I am heading back to Bag End and am almost to Weathertop. I should see you along the way!

Mile 1295: We see ruins on the hilltop north of the road we are on. We will camp in a Southwest running valley.

Mile 1228 We have reached the Last Homely House in Rivendell. Will stay for a few days with Elrond and then continue on to Bag End.

Mile 1150. The marsh is ending in the west. We are climbing up a slope heading northeast.

Mile 1010. We are in open country that is gently sloping. It's been easier for the ponies.

Mile 910. We are following the Moria-road east on the north bank of the Sirannon.

Mile 875. We've crossed the ford of the Swanfleet.

Mile 646. We have left our camp at the base of Methedras and have crossed a small stream.

Mile 535. Isengard is no more. The Ents have transformed it into the Treegarth of Orthanc. The Tower rises from a mirroring lake, with an east-running stream feeding the Isen. All the circle is filled with trees and orchards.

Mile 505. We have turned north and are on the highway heading to Isengard.

Mile 469. We've reach the road to the Deeping Coomb and Helm's Deep. We are turning south.

Mile 408. Looks like we will be crossing a lot of small streams. Will camp for now.

Mile 361. We are fording the Snowbourne.

Mile 334. As we walk the hills are drawing away to the south and the road continues through some scattered willows.

Mile 291. We've crossed a small stream and have decided to camp here.

Mile 260. We've left the Fenmarch and are entering the Folde.

Mile 230. We are still camping among the trees. I can't believe I haven't log in for such a long time. I know my weight shows that I have not been walking.

We have crossed a mall stream and can see the beacon hill of Minrimmon on our left. Nice to have you along, zippo32!
