  • Thank you for all the advice, I think there is some useful information here. Getting ready to go, it's going to be really crowded so I don't think I will be able to go fast at all...or maybe that's what I will tell myself ;)
  • I actually am running with a friend, she asked me to do it with her.

  • One of my favorite sites for healthy recipes as well. You must try some of her latino inspired recipes. The Cuban black beans over cilantro rice is so delicious and I also love the zesty lime shrimp and avocado salad. Usually two of my weekly recipes are from her. It's also nice that they are usually in the database…
  • Pacific Rose apples are so delicious but they aren't available year round either :(
  • My son is allergic to mosquito bites as well. His will swell and get a little oozy. I have found that hydrocortisone cream helps a little bit and seems to make them go away a little quicker. We also try to use OFF as much as posible when he is outside in the summer.
  • I think it's important to add back strength training to your core workout. You can't have a strong core without a strong back. Try adding in some supermans along with the planks. You could also do a walking plank while in your plank position. Just take small steps alternating feet and then switch to your hands.
