Love your story! Congrats on the weight loss and lifestyle change! You look amazing and your family is so precious!

No to be a creeper...but you have KILLER legs! Awesome transformation!

This is insane. WOW! LOVE this thread!
-
This too. One drink for me is laughable.

Exactly! After 3-4 glasses of wine my eating goes to ****. (Edit to add this was in response to chriskellint...apparently I hit reply instead of quote!)

I use ON Gold Standard 100% Whey...double chocolate. I've found that the cheaper why protein powders taste much worse that the slightly more expensive. I use it to supplement my meals and to help meet my protein macros for the day, not to replace real food. I have, on occasion, used it as a base for a breakfast smoothie or…

Saving for later! Thank you!

I second yellow curry...and add a little ground ginger! Also: Nutmeg, cumin, paprika, white pepper, cayenne pepper...you should see my spice cabinet! No bland food in MY house!

Me! I have over 100 lbs to lose. I started a few months ago and have been lifting heavy and eating between 2000-2100 cals a day. Feel free to add me if you'd like!

Beast! Great job!

Look at that hair...you're gorgeous! Congrats on the loss!!!

What an inspiration! Congratulations...I bet you feel wonderful!!!

I really like this post. With a large family like mine, budgeting, planning and eating at home are crucial! I am ALWAYS scanning the meat isle for specials. We invested in a large freezer so I can support my meat hoarding habit. I was proud of myself last night...we had friends over and I fed everyone lean beef tacos (2-5…

I'm a beginner and I started with StronLifts 5x5...I'm almost finished with week 3. I basically researched my *kitten* off. I read so much stuff about compound lifts and proper form. I also watched a TON of youtube vids. Form is the most important thing! Be sure to watch yourself in a mirror to make sure you're doing the…

^^This. Love your attitude! I'm on my third week of Stronglifts 5x5. I. LOVE. IT. No, it's not easy...it kicks my *kitten*. But I love how I feel. The author of the program and ebook explains the simplicity and the grouping of compound lifts in the PDF. It's free, so check it out if you're interested.

Seriously one of my most favorite transformations ever! I'm a big girl who just started lifting heavy and you are such an inspiration!! :flowerforyou:

Before and during (Still have a LONG way to go!):

This is SO INSPIRATIONAL! I'm sold...just got The New Rules of Lifting for Women and I'm starting. I would love to be HALF as hot as the ladies in this thread!

I would up your activity level. I have a FitBit and I just let it log my calories based on my activity level throughout the day, for step-based activities. For strength training, swimming, or anything non step-based, I log those activities manually in MFP.

This is so inspirational. Congratulations! As someone who is obese, I can totally relate to your story and it almost made me cry. I can't wait to be free of plus size stores and worrying about the size of seat I'm about to sit in. You, sir, are an inspiration...THANK YOU for sharing!!
-
Are you getting help for your eating disorder? I know things like that are hard to kick by yourself.
-
Feel free to add me. I log in every day (well, almost...but I've only missed 2 days since I've been on MFP!) I read food diaries and give lots of support.

As someone who is pretty obese, I dreaded "exercise." A friend of mine introduced me to FitBit, which tracks my steps, calories burned, flights of stairs taken and total miles walked in a day. My step goal is 10,000 a day. It's a no-brainer...I just clip it to my bra in the morning and go. I check it periodically and if I…

What a transformation! You rock! This is part of my goal, too. I'm want to look better at 40 that I did at 20! :)

My husband drinks it with hot water, raw local honey (or blue agave) and a pinch of cinnamon. I think it's nasty as hell, but he doesn't mind it. It's supposed to have tons of health benefits.
