You're very welcome. It is all a very humbling experience..........

10 is incredible!

Isn't that the truth?! It's a very odd feeling for me........

Thanks! We are in the same boat. While my starting weight wasn't quite as high, I, too, have had 2 babies and lost slowly. Sometimes the realization of it all sucks but the way we feel about ourselves is far more important than anything. I think if we can 'fake it', confidence, we will actually get there. You are doing…

Love that quote too! It is difficult to KEEP it off. Probably more so than to actually lose the weight. I need to check that book out!!

My problem has been looking back at pics and thinking 'damn I didn't realize I was THAT heavy!'
-
Oh heck yes! I plateaued for almost a year. That's when I seriously changed it all up and have been losing .5 a lb a week since.
-
You're welcome!

???? and some of us become even cooler and inspire ourselves!
-
Very true, thanks!
-
Love it!! It is so true, you grow in ways you cannot imagine. Thanks!

And #11) don't forget to change things up when you get bored. Nothing is set in stone. I've changed my "plan" more than I've changed my hair color.

Yep. At 75 lbs lost I'm more insecure and unsure of myself. Feel less confident and sexy. Always questioning the right food changes or choices. It SUCKS.

Crap!! I knew I would forget something!!! #10) you WILL need a 2nd job to pay for the following (if you have quite a bit to lose) 1- new clothes (i advise goodwill, great finds there and you won't be in them long!) I've gone from a tight 18w to a current tight 10!!! 2- resizing your wedding ring. I have done it 3 times!…

Yea the emotional side is one I didn't expect. It's probably the toughest. Hang in there!!

Comparison pics are what keep me going. When I get down on it I take a pic and do some comparing. It's amazing. :-) you will get there.

It's always something. School, marriage, job, kids, etc. for me it was all of the above. It took going through a very abusive marriage, 2 babies, struggling to make it with them on my own, and finally finding a man who loved ME for me. I was at my heaviest weight when we met and got married. We have been married 3 years…

Congrats!!! You look great!! It seems to take everyone a very long time to accept the new image. I've slowly been losing for 3 years with lots of stumbling along the way and some days I feel hot and skinny, but most days I feel frumpy, fat, and ugly still. Weird how our mind changes so slowly.
-
Thank you......... I was feeling very crappy today and it lead to some great thoughts to ponder.

I take Benefiber every morning in my protein shake.

You have a wise mom! You are right on target, too. If I would've stuck with it at your age, I wouldn't be where I'm at right now. I let life be an excuse and get in the way. I've sure missed out on a lot in those 11 years.

It's my wallpaper on my phone. It's amazing how true it really is and how easily we forget it. We are so trained to expect instant gratification that when we don't get it, we really overreact.
-
You are most welcome!! Little reminders are nice once in a while ????
-
Yep I do too. I also graph it.
-
 thanks.
-
lol!!! I look at myself now and think I thought I was fat back then! Crap I would give anything for this to have been my highest weight!!!!
-
Everyone looks amazing!!!
-
Great feeling isn't it??!!!! Yay for you!!!! I actually have 3 :blushing: 1) I can fit in a size 10 now! Almost all of my jeans and slacks are too big! 2) after ultra low carb for 2 years, I've slowly been adding them back in and I can comfortably eat 100+ without feeling the desire to binge or get out of control 3) I am…

I will be 33 next month. I've been losing weight for almost 3 years but only on MFP since April of last year. I'm down 75 lbs and half my size. Currently my goal weight is 145, but that's is subject to change.......so I'm 15 away from my goal. I started running last summer, but since it got cold, I've been fairly inactive.…

I currently teach, but In my area, I've been an aide in 3 different districts the last 12 years. Pay, unfortunately, varies widely. Usually, if the district hires and pays the pay is better but if it's part of a coop the pay can be not great. I made $8.50/hour in one district with no benefits, I made $14.00/hour with fully…
