I had no willpower (sometimes I still dont) when it comes to eating and was prescribed an appitite suppressant. It worked, made me not want to eat at all. When I stopped taking it, I found myself hungary again when the medication was out of my system. I came to a conclusion, I could either take suppressants the rest of my…

When I do this, I would personally watch what I eat the rest of the week, especially drink water to help eliminate all the sodium in the meals. This always helped me with the "bloat" feeling afterwards. At least you were honest in your diary which is being honest with yourself.

As for the gym: I don't get where people get the notion that they require a gym to workout. I haven't stepped in a gym in 6 years, yet I seem to be doing alright (aside from 3 of those years, after I injured myself). [/quote] Well Said! I work out at home. I jog, do work out DVD's (I have a lot because I get bored real…

I can't afford food so therefore I dont eat so in return I lose weight... Just kidding. For real, we can all afford to eat healthy, it is just an excuse some of us may use, guilty here. I have less than $400 a month to spend on a family of 4 and there are ways it can be done.

I started out wanting to be thin, because I have been both heavy (most of my life) and thin. I felt better thin emotionally but I was also treated better, less name calling because thin is in.:grumble: After many years of dieting and weight up and down, I have chosen to strive for fit, because I will end up thin in the…

Thats awesome, 1,000 straight days! I agree about taking a cruise or some form of vacation.
-
Agree. I am 4'11 and eat 1300 calories a day, sometimes just a little more and still lose.
-
bump. Very interested too

I havent tried Insanity, but I personally dont think an exercise program is a shortcut. I would think a diet plan, meal replacements, pills and so forth are more a shortcut for weight loss.

Just wanted to say I love your before and after pictures....great job.

No more trouble zones and Banish fat boost motabalism seem to go hand in hand. These two are good to alternate if you want to get cardio and toning in together. Ripped in 30 was good, harder than 30DS and I dont care for her kick boxing one.

 Good luck Edited to say: If it works for you then keep at it. I havent personally tried it myself though so I cannot suggest what to eat on it.

Thank you! This comment means a lot to me. I was that fat kid and hid in my house afraid of the world... Not anymore..

I love this Nike Ad!!! I am about 50 pounds overweight but want to be able to jog/run on a daily basis without stopping. I push myself and am excited when I ran a cross country track up and down a hill on dirt and bark chips in 96 degree weather for 7 minutes strait! Some laugh but it was great for me. Not everyone has to…

I took Phentermine and had to watch my blood pressure closely. It didn't make me hungary and I had no energy (I think a combo of not feeling hungary, not eating, I just felt blah) but that was me. I did lose weight, 20 pounds in just a couple months (if that) but gained it back (snuck up fast, I swear) plus 10 more because…

She doesn't specify, but I have heard her on some of her DVD's (not sure which one because I have almost all of them) to remember to rest your body on rest days. So, what I took out of her 30 DS was to do it for 30 days, but she doesn't suggest straight, just from start to finish. I have read some on here that some people…

Maybe if you just replace "trying to lose weight" to "wanting to get fit" then maybe they will back off some.

Done both: I personally enjoy working at home because: *I feel I can work out better, harder, longer (because I am self conscience, some may not be) *The cost is not there in membership *It is convenient because I am already there, no driving, babysitter, ect. (10 hr work days, who wants to watch kids longer and drive to a…

Your love of pizza is probably like those who love fast food. I have found fast food is more blah to me know and not even a filler if I eat it, just a waste. My hubby gets heart burn a lot from pizza McD's and places like that, BUT... he always orders a DIET with any meal, good or bad because he's been diabetic…

This is why I joined this site. Many times I have tried to get together with others locally to lose weight, who want to lose weight, and it doesnt seem to work out. There are some that skip diet to diet not understanding that unfortunately they are failing for one reason or another, or there wont be a yo yo issue. Plus,…
