I gained 15 kilos on Amitriptyline. (33 pounds) and to scared to take topamax because of the side effects. (I am being treated for Chronic daily migraine) I have stopped taking it cause I couldn't stand to keep gaining weight on it, I was already big to begin with, But I am on sandomigran metaprolol and maxalt which seems…

They taste nothing like french fries!!!!!!! :( *sniff*

Same happens to me, I just look at my weekly cals.
-
I drink spirits with coke zero, so pretty low cal compared to other drinks. nips are a standard size so easy to work out your cals. I dont drink at pubs or clubs, so I pour my own. I have a little measuring cup so I can measure and record each drink as I pour it. And if I'm too drunk to measure properly I'm too drunk to…

homemade hummus and veggie sticks? that is a dish in my fridge that is a free for all, the kids can snack on it and I can grab it in a hurry to much on while I am getting the kids food.

Weekends for me are Tuesday and Wednesday cause my husband works in hospitality lol. What I do is eat less cals during the week so I can go over on those days, but I am still at a deficit for the week. Seems to be working fine so far! :)

Hehe I am in Australia so my Saturday is early too :). Starting weight was 94.4 (208.1 pounds) Week one weight 91.8!!!! (202.3 pounds) So I am pretty stoked with that!!!

I am at my most hungriest at night, I just work my daily cals so I can snack at night.

My workout playlist consists of Greenday, stone sour, slipknot, foofighters, jet, the butterfly effect etc. pretty much all metal and rock, and it usually goes a faster one followed by a slower one which is working great for my walking rhythm.

hot salty buttery popcorn!!!! mmmmm

I set mine to public from the start. yup it's pretty embarrassing what I eat some days, but it is going to help me make better choices. It's not going to work if you lie to yourself!

Don't think, know. Don't try, just do!

This is my husband. Just without the motivation to do anything about it. I am happy with our lot in life, and like to work towards my goals like my weight loss. I think he thinks I am crazy to not want more and more.
-
Exactly this! When I first started I could only walk 10 mins, but 10 mins is 10 more than 0! Just slowly work up from there, and good luck :)

As long as you are at a deficit for the week, you will still lose weight. I do this myself, I like to have drinks and nibblies with my husband on his day off once a week, and eat under my calories (not by huge amounts) the other 6 days. So far it is working for me :)

I have a few. -be able to walk 10 km in one hit. (Nearly there, managed 9.08 yesterday) -To be able to do a chin up -to finish c25k -to be able to lift my son into bed, currently I have to sit on the end of the bed, lie down and roll him off me. -to be toned fit and beautiful -this one is a bit silly, but I would love just…

I don't like veggies either, but last night I made up a bolognaise sauce that was only about 1/4 mince the rest was all grated celery, carrot, zucchini and of course lots of tomatoes. It was my best tasting sauce ever and I didn't notice the vege at all. Plus from there you can use the sauce with pasta, or use it to make…

Sounds delish! :)

Spaghetti, and damn it was good!

Snap :) Cept yours sounds yummier than mine!
-
Not a recipe as such, but I like to toss diced vegetables (carrot, brussel sprouts, peas, spring onions zucchini any thing you like really) in with the rice and water, and half a cup of soy sauce. Vegetarian fried rice without the fried :)
-
I dont use lemon juice or plastic wrap, I just leave the seed in and cover with the skin from the half I just ate. Works fine :)

Thank you :) I have a digital food scale and am being very honest with myself about everything I am eating, and changing the crap out for healthier options :) It's the math bit that is confusing me. So I should subtract 3500 to 7000 from my TDEE X7 and then divide that number by 7 to get my daily calorie goal? Is that…
-
BMR is 1726 and TDEE is 2675 with me selecting the moderate exercise option. I walk 5 days a week, and am joining a gym next week and plan on strength training 3 days a week.

Basically I just want to do this right, I'm not in it to drop the weight as fast as I can and deprive myself, I want to teach myself to look after my body properly, and stick with it for life.

My breakky nearly every morning is 25 grams of rolled oats and a single serve chobani. Chuck it in a bowl mix and eat so quick and easy but tastes great, and I can have a different flavour every morning :)

Sounds delish! Just used up all my eggs yesterday, I am going to have to buy more and give it a go!
