Oh, trust me, I can demolish a plate of food after a long run no problem. I'm trying to get away from the mentality of long run = eat everything in sight. I am training for several half marathons, but adding the 100 over the week kind of scares me. The one time I'd do that would be the week where something happens and I…

That may be worth a try. I may try that this weekend - about an hour on Saturday and 8-9 miles on Sunday.

1570 - GOAL. Not sure where you're seeing the 1400. I have a desk job. I do try to eat back the majority of my exercise calories during the week. On the weekends, when I'm running 6+ miles, it's impossible for me to eat back that many calories (can get close to 1000 if I'm running 9-10 miles).

I ran a few more miles last week than usual. But I'm talking like, 5 more miles. Nothing crazy. The only other thing I can even remotely thing of is that I've been fighting a slight cold for a few days now.

I wear it mostly with cardio (running mainly), not so much when I'm lifting or fitness classes.
-
I'd have one or two of these.

I think you need to do what feels best for you. IF isn't the end all/be all to weight loss. There are some days where I am ravenous prior to noon, so I eat. Try it both ways and see how you feel. As long as you're in a calorie deficit, you'll lose weight.
-
Three more miles for tonight. 16 total for the month. 64 miles left to 80 for March.
-
Neither. Weight loss comes from a calorie deficit. If you feel like you must have a protein drink vs. having whole foods that are high in protein, go by what tastes good to you and what you can afford.

Made pork tenderloin last night, homemade potato wedges, and a big salad. This is in the crockpot for tonight: https://sweetpeasandsaffron.com/slow-cooker-ginger-peanut-chicken-green-beans-baby-potatoes/

Discipline kicks in on the days where motivation isn't enough. I tell myself to just go for 10 minutes and if I'm still not feeling the workout, I can leave. I've never followed myself up on that offer.

I like my coffee like my soul - Dark and black. Me at Starbucks - "The largest black coffee you have, please." "No, no room for cream or sugar." "No, really, no room for cream or sugar." I still get room for cream and sugar. >.< I heard someone at the coffee shop the other day order a non-fat decaf latte. I about fell out…

Got five miles in this morning on the track. I was completely out of time, or I would have gone at least another 3. Boo. March 2 - 8 miles March 3 - 5 miles Total for month - 13 Left until goal - 67
-
March 2 - 4 minutes total. 53 minutes left until 60 min. goal.
-
March 2 - 8 mile run. Miles left to goal - 72.
-
I'm in! Let's plan on 60 minutes to start it out...I'm already part of a plank challenge, so the next few days will be good to chip away ( I reserve the right to up the numbers). Today - 3 minutes of planks this morning. Total for March - 3 minutes, 57 left for the goal.

I have a half in 9 weeks - I'm hoping for 80 miles this month. Minimum. If I can get 90, that would be ideal.

If I eat a cupcake, I must pull the bottom off, put it on top of the frosting and eat it like a little cupcake sandwich. That's as strange as I get.

I hate burpees. So good for me but suck while I'm doing them.
-
Are you asking for yourself or someone else? Me, personally, I wouldn't log it. But that's just me.

Happy!

It was my first and I had a complete blast. I ran most of it with a friend and we got to mile 18 and thought "Oh, we're already 18 miles in? "

I fluctuate all the time. Up to 5 pounds. I am up 3 pounds from my weight on Saturday. But, also indulged in some very good food and beer Saturday and yesterday. Totally normal.

I realized that no one was watching or caring about what I did at the gym. My reasons to go outweighed the excuses not to go. I've outlasted every single person who said they'd go to the gym with me. And it's a great feeling.

I'm shocked you were cleared to exercise prior to 6 weeks post op. I had mine out back in 2012 and was pretty active at the time. Even though it was done laparoscopically, I still wasn't cleared to do anything beyond walk for 6 weeks. Again, you just had surgery. Even at 7 weeks your body is still focused on repairing…
-
A few weeks ago? Define a "few" weeks. You just had surgery, you need to give your body a chance to heal and repair itself.

I really hate articles like this. I can run 100 miles in a month and my depression can still at times get the better of me. Does it help? Yes. Do I sometimes need the boost of medication? Also yes.

I made shrimp with Asian veggies and sauce; served over rice. Dinner done in less than 15 minutes.

Mmmmmm.....eggs. I've had a hankering for duck eggs recently, maybe I'll have to see if I can find them at my local health food store.

Well, I planned for and logged a cinnamon roll. Ate it, tasted great, and now I am sick to my stomach because of it. Awesome.
