It really is so depressing to be doing everything "right" and not see the scale reflect that - or WORSE - what just happened to me these last 3 days - the scale is going UP despite me doing everything right!! Ugh. Times like these you really want to give up, but I am hanging in there!

Let us know if the Dr has anything useful to say. I went about a year ago and they said everything was good. Is anyone taking any hormone replacements? Let us know how yoga goes too if you try it! I feel too impatient and too busy to do yoga! But I wish I could!

Some people say fitbits make you gain weight - because they tell you that you have burned x number of calories, so if you eat those calories back, you will be in trouble if it has over-estimated. I think everyone and every situation is different, but I want to say yes. Sometimes when I eat more I lose weight. Sometimes when I exercise I gain. I'm a total noob, so this is pure preference - I make a jug of juice (about 32oz so 4 cups usually) in the morning and usually drink it from morning to afternoon until its gone and make a fresh batch the next day. I eat as well though, not just 100% juicing.

Sucks it seems to be coming back. Did you track calories when you came off the juice? Just wondering what your totals were when you came off and how much exercise - in other words did it ALL change when you ended the 3 days? Or did you just add back very reasonable servings of regular food and continue exercise?

Yes I think anything you can't fall off is fine :) Re: the heart rate - just a very general guide from my OB - I'm quite sure people vary with this depending on age and previous condition, but without doctors advice, it's a general guide.

Swimming and walking are good. Generally nothing that gets your heart rate over 130, and also no to the bike riding in general - or things involving balance because pregnancy alters your center of gravity and can mess with your balance.

Just ask - everyone is different. I know devout vegans who will eat eggs from cruelty free situations like this, but others wont regardless simply because of what an egg actually is. I think the person will really appreciate your concern in asking!
