Oh my - I was doing the EXACT same thing! I've been good, I deserve this, why can't I have it if I like it? Life is to be enjoyed, right? I did kinda the same thing when I quit smoking, and I've never regretted sticking with that! The ONLY thing that works for me right now is to allow the exact same thoughts, which after…

I have about 19 to go.....so I doubt I'll make it by April, but at least I'll be a lot closer!

Weigh as usual, suffer through it! Also measure though - sometimes it helps to have other numbers to focus on. Keep my fingers crossed the next week will be an even better number than usual after the bloat goes away...

Thanks for the tips. I think I will just remove it from things I track for now and focus on my successes for a while :)

Hahahaha good question - same here! Mine are all over the place by a LOT so I know I am not measuring in the exact same place! I can't figure it out. I usually try 3 different spots of the same measurement and average them out!

It sounds like you are talking about a 'diet' rather than a lifestyle change. If you want to make permanent changes in how your body looks or feels, you need to make permanent changes in how you move and eat. If you take a path that you cannot maintain for the rest of your life, the the results will also be very…

Totally agree! I have a major SweetTooth (hence the name duh!) and if I had to live without forever, I could never do this, so I make sure to leave enough calories for treats, and practice moderation and control. If I can't have it in front of me and practice moderation, I would be afraid I would just melt down one day and…

I would check in with the doc and discuss switching birth control methods...you should have to put up with feeling nauseous!

I don't know how that thing is COUCH to 5k - I tried day one and it dang near killed me!! I seriously don't see how you can go from nothing to Day 1. I need the couch to Day 1 program for about 4 weeks first I think! I hope you fare better than me! I hope to start on this again when I'm a little fitter.

My size 18 jeans getting so tight and the only clothes I was comfortable in was pajamas. I still have a long way to go but at least those size 18's are not so tight anymore.

I'm sorry but no - I will NEVER voluntarily tell hubby what my start weight was.....particularly because it's more than he weighs. Besides, he has no interest in knowing, so I am going to leave it at that! Yes, I'm probably being silly, but he has NO idea what this is like and has never had an issue with weight in his…

Wow! That is truly astounding! You look fantastic.

If it feels wet to touch still, I don't wet it again.

I can't imagine ever being in a position where I have to force myself to eat extra calories! lol I'm pretty sure about 4 potato chips would put anyone over the top! Joking. I know that's not a healthy way to fill up on calories......

Are you logging every single thing you eat? I would definitely do that and if you want feedback on what might be going on with your food, make your diary open for others to check out. It really gives you so much information about what you are putting in your body when you log every single thing.

Sometimes we are just not in the mood. He'll get over it! If you feel this way for more than a week you may want to up the exercise - it helps the feel good endorphins kick in.

Just got the Polar FT4 for $79.99 on Amazon and so far it's fabulous and seems very accurate. It does 'blip' the whole time it's on, so I don't know how people wear them all day. That's probably something I just don't know how to turn off yet. I only want it for my actual work outs anyway.
