  • im pretty sure everything i eat is a "cheat meal" to most people because it's not their standard of healthy or doesn't fit their diet/lifestyle/etc  why deprive myself of yumminess
  • bought my first protein powder recently from target for 20$, Pure Protein Whey Isolate in vanilla cream. so tasty, 130kcal, 1g carbs 1g fat and 30g protein per scoop :drinker:
  • i don't know much about powders. but, i recently picked up a 2 pound tub of Pure Protein Whey Isolate in Vanilla Cream for 20$ from target (lol). tastes delicious, reminds me of some sort of cake batter flavour. there's also a chocolate version but i haven't purchased it yet. 140kcal/2.5F/3C/30P per scoop
  • i completely agree with this that being said, the only food that isn't ever worth it for me is generic restaurant dinners/appetizers. most of them are not filling and nothing super *special* and have a minimum of 700 calories just why
  • as mentioned above, tons of recipes out there! what i usually do is think of something id like to eat, ex. brownies and start looking for 'healthier' (usually just lower calorie etc:embarassed: ) versions and variations a lot of people say just eat in moderation but i've never been able to do so. for example 'moderation'…
  • trip to hong kong, my favourite part was the food obviously. this is like 4/10000 delicious things i had. fried udon with veggies bbq chicken, kimchi, vermicelli, cabbage and loads of rice underneath the egg shrimp and noodle soup fried chicken, noodles, bread, cheese sauce etc. this place is like the equivalent to our…
  • the only thing that ever truly fills me up is oatmeal, everything else kind of fills me up for like 1 hour and goes away. i could eat a bowl of oatmeal and feel full for hours
  • i buy them with their tails off, also cooked and frozen?
  • today i tried chickpea cookie dough, lol yes i was skeptical too. tons of recipes on the internet but ive kind of made my own method to fit my macros etc. thought i could eat the whole batch and now i feel sick.. as if i actually ate raw batter LOL.. at least it was healthy :blushing: forgot to add that it was delicious…
  • i've always struggled with this, im almost always over my salt intake and bloat a bit but try to drink as much water as possible to flush it out of my system, i've never really found a 'cure'. in the long run it's never made me gain permanent weight so i just accept it and move on, curious to see what others have to say…

  • this is a popular topic on mfp forums but i know exactly how you feel. the only advice id have is try eating less diet-friendly, ex use some extra oil, 2% instead of fat-free, etc. i still have the problem of meeting my calorie goal to maintain and its been months, i usually just add 5+ tablespoons of nut butter to reach…
  • MFP > everything i like some of WW recipes and products in grocery stores though
  • i either wear no makeup at all or wear as much as i want there's no in between with me. i really do prefer wearing none at all though, much easier

  • celery is disgusting i can't scarf that down. i really hate dragonfruit as well, tastes bitter and just not pleasant. oh and mushrooms i will never be able to enjoy:sick:
  • usually restaurant food for me, packed in calories and not filling or really tasty at all :noway:
  • i tried to maintain without counting and within a week i ended up losing 2 pounds.. for some people that's probably good news but i'd rather not lose more weight, i'm already pretty low on the scale for my height. although i didn't count calories i tried to do some 'mental' calculations but i guess i always underestimate
  • i'm the type of person that either wears no makeup at all or has to pack it all on, there is no in-between for me :blushing:

  • homemade. throw nuts into a food processor and blend. add whatever you want (cinnamon, maple syrup, etc). there is no store-bought comparison
  • i used to love regular, then switched to natural which was really weird at first and i didnt enjoy it. after a while i got used to it and started to love it. i tried regular again later on and it tastes so odd and dare i say gross to me now. NOW i much prefer making homemade nut butters in a food processor
  • this may sound silly but i really want that recipe....it looks too good and id probably eat the whole tray
  • that's what i assumed but i wasn't too sure, thank you! :)
  • hot dogs! buns, veggie dogs, salad, mayo, onion, tomatoes, ketchup, and mustard nomz.
  • i recently picked up some veggie dogs and enjoy them but everybody's different just explore some options! posters above me have good recommendations
  • nope im with you. from the beginning ive been doing it for myself etc and i mean when someone compliments me obviously im not annoyed, but once it becomes "are you sick? do you even eat anything? are you sure you're healthy?" then im pretty annoyed lol, and they dont even say it with genuine concern. i also know people who…
  • these pictures do not do them any justice, bad lighting + whip cream was melting + etc diet coke cupcakes = best invention ever they were so moist and delicious, maybe because i havent had the "real" thing in a while but seriously if i didnt make them myself id think there was a litre of oil/butter in them. also…
  • made my mom breakfast for valentines day hm
  • i take a one a day womens multi although i dont really know why, i initially bought them when i was 'extreme' dieting and had difficulties reaching my calcium/iron levels but i eat balanced now and my vit a/b etc are all like 700% a day lol
  • agreed with previous posters, just get a food scale. i used to try to eye my measurements and scale them with the palm/cards tricks. once i got a food scale and actually started weighing it, i realized i was underestimating almost everything i ate, even if i used measuring cups etc it was over the serving size.
  • for anyone that wants a frozen pizza (if you dont care about being ""healthy"") with really low cals i suggest mccains ultra thin crust pizzas.. ive had the pollo variety and spinach provolone and they were delicious. it's about the size of a large plate, a whole pizza is ~600 calories. i usually eat half and have some…
  • MFP sets protein pretty low, im always 'over' by a good 30g but it still fits into my carb:fat:protein ratio my protein sources are usually egg whites, greek yogurt, and chicken or fish. sometimes quest bars as well :flowerforyou:
