What level of fitness are you currently at? Bird dogs are a good exercise to strengthen the core for beginners. Here is a link to the creator of the program I am on explaining some variations: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_CbDUTlil_A Cross arm crunches, elbow to knee crunches, and alternating legs raises are great as…

Ditch the peanut butter and go with almond or perhaps pistachio. I LOVE love love almond butter now. What you can do that you haven't mentioned is have a "veggie hour" every week perhaps on Sunday or Monday that you cut up tons of different veggies: carrots, zucchini, sweet potato, broccoli, cauliflower etc. and bake them…

I usually search based on brand and size if I can. I have a generic Dole medium sized and two different larger Del Monte's in my quick reference that works for me.

Try some greek yogurt! Chobani fat free is my favorite. You can also do a protein shake with fat free milk and a banana thrown in for good measure.

If you are working on fitness and eating clean your weight can fluctuate by as much as +/- 5 lbs. on a daily basis. I try to only weigh myself and do body fat every Monday morning... after excretion that is.

Yes, it is true. In order to effectively gain muscle or lose fat your body has to be in one of two different modes based on your nutrient intake. I would consider doing the elliptical machine. You can work out your lower and upper body with low impact cardio. The important bit is that it is not a weight bearing exercise, so it should be easy on your joints.

Good call! This is what I was suggesting with upping the protein intake.

If you wanna work on strengthening your core you can try the P4P ab workouts on YouTube aka 8 minute abs. Levels 1-3 are really good for building core strength and working on your abs as a beginner. I would suggest sticking with Level 1 for 2-4 weeks then try moving up to Level 2 intermittently. Level 3 is quite difficult,…

I wouldn't worry about what those results say if you are working out often and feeling good. Keep doing what you are doing and losing weight! If you are worried about losing LBM start working in a little more strength training and up your protein consumption to ~1 g per pound of LBM.

You will do fine! Just shake it off and get back on track tomorrow. Soon enough clean eating will be a matter of course for you and you won't have to worry about "breaking." It is only day 3 after all. Mistakes happen! Just look forward. :)

Analyze why you did it and use that to stop from doing it next time. All you can do is look forward and concentrate on being clean in the future. As I type this I am drinking a Diet Coke, and I feel like that is evil cheating. :(

Scrambled eggs with mango salsa, whole wheat toast with almond butter, and a glass of Bolthouse Farms Green Goodness.
