  • Check your HRM batteries. I couldn't get my to work when it was BRAND NEW and found Polar supplied the wrong batteries. Once I switched to the correct one's the HRM worked awesome.
  • Dairy Queen S'more Blizzard. Obviously I knew it was going to be high, it is ice cream and candy after all. I got the small and it was DELICIOUS. But, it was 780 calories. I figured 500 - 600 maximum and had the calories for that. Did not have the calories for almost 800. My treadmill and I got very well aquainted that…
  • I also use C25K Free (by Zen Labs) on my iPod Touch. I really like the option to set either dings, or voice to tell me when to walk/run. And you can listen to your own music.
  • I go with friends/family, but don't really run with someone. I need music to run so it would be hard to really run with someone. I just ran a 5k yesterday and my 9 year old son came with. He ran it in 30 minutes and I did it in 41 minutes. I wouldn't want to expect him to run slower to stay with me and there's no way I…
  • I found out I had PCOS when we were TTC. I lost weight, did fertility treatment, and nothing. We decided to stop trying because it was emotionally exhausting and not treating the PCOS with birth control was leaving me in horrendous pain. Most of the time the cysts are so bad they cannot see my ovaries and the next step is…

  • Not eating them makes more sense now that I figured out what I should be eating. I was seriously hungry ALL THE TIME and felt like crap. I've been so tired and cranky so hopefully this change makes things better.
  • This helps a lot! I've been sticking to 1200 calories for about four weeks and I don't see any results with working out 3 - 4 times a week, so I think it was having a negative impact already!! I felt silly posting the question, but now I'm glad I did. Thanks again.
  • Thank you! For light activity it states 2080 calories so 80% would be 1664. No wonder I'm hungry trying to stick to 1200 calories. I'm going to try and see if I get better results. I feel like I've been working my butt off the past few weeks with zero results.
  • I'm currently 194 (5' 7" tall; big frame) and my goal is to get to 155. I workout about an hour 3 - 4 times a week right now. Just cardio, but eventually I want to add weight training of some sort. So knowing that is 1200 too few calories?
