What are you doing that you are burning 1000 calories per work out? That seems to be very high.

Just remember to go at your own pace. It can be so fun that you forget how much your doing and you will pay for it the next day. Its been a few months since i did any Zumba. I have recently gotten into DDR (Dance, Dance Revolution). Having a blast with that. Keep at it and it does get easier.

I am in the same slow boat to china. I have 3-4 lbs left and it is driving me nuts. I agree, just need to be patient and keep up the hard work. This is going to be life for me. I don't ever want to do all this again, so whats another few months.

I have a very sedentary job. For the last 4 months, I have been hitting the gym at 5:30am. I normally have 3 miles done and the rest of the steps come through the day. I have very similar stats. I am currently 145 and 5'8. I changed my goals from # to Body Fat %. If I have it figured correctly, I want to get to 23% and that should be around 141-142lbs. So I am real close. The closest I have ever gotten. It has only taken 14 months.

With the real goal weight number, here is the adjusted calorie numbers: BMR = 1534 (that is coma level) Sedentary = 1643 Lightly active= 1883 Moderately active = 2122 Very active= 2362 Extremely Active= 2601

I put your stats in the Fat 2 Fit BMI calculator. ( A very good podcast with lots of good advice.) You didn't say whether your male or female and what your goal weight is. So I guessed you were a female and I just guessed your goal weight at 150 lb. That is a starting point at least. BMR = 1534 (that is coma level)…

I use Laughing Cow Cheese instead of Mayo. For me it is moist enough to act as a replacement.

I am 5'8" and weight 149 lbs. I wear a size 8. At my largest I weighed 187 and was very tight in a size 14. It took trying on a lot of different styles to finally convince myself that I really was a size 8. I cannot even remember wearing a size 8 in High School.

Between work and meetings last night I was unable to get on the Wii. Keeping the calories under control was all I could accomplish. I am aiming for a very active evening after work today.

I was in the same boat a few years ago and what has worked for me was to cook an extra serving of dinner the night before and make my own frozen dinners. I controlled the portions and the salt. Works great to this day.

I also love my Wii Fit. The only drawback is that once you have worked up to the exercise level there is no where to go. Maybe that is what Wii Fit Plus is for. I haven't had a chance to look into it. I can do the advance step and not break a sweat. I still do it cause something is better than nothing. I love the balance…

I did 20 minutes last night. That about whooped me. I had grand ideas that i was going to do 45 minutes a night. I am going to have to rethink that plan. Man, am I out of shape. This challenge was a great idea.

Everything mentioned is what I have done to lose weight. The only thing I would add is to reduce the number of restaurant visits made in a week. It had gotten way out of hand. Just this morning i tried Hungry Girls Egg Mug Florentine. Very yummy. Filling enough to get through the morning but I will have to have a morning snack around 10am. This recipe is very versatile. I made the egg mixture and then put it in a whole wheat pita pocket for a breakfast on the go.
