No difference based on weight. Huge differences based on how I dress and carry myself.

Most people think skinny jokes are compliments. Often changes to become skinnier or more active make other people feel guilty. Like if you are doing it they should too. Your body language and actions may also be unconsciously changing. I'd talk to them about it.

Impossible! I read a study that said alcohol makes you absorb less calories so beer makes you thinner. But wine is waaaaay healthier. Though whole grains are good for you and so is water so beer is whole grain water....and therefore food for you. Also fermented foods are good for you. Really beer and wine are superfoods.

It's hard. I'm in my 150s hoping to get to the 120s.

My kids love to trick or treat so I will take them out again this year. Their candy always ends up getting eaten eventually. We organize it by type. We use some of the candy to make other things, like suckers and lifesavers into window pane cookies, candy bars into blizzards or cookies, chips into chicken coating, nacho…

I have female relatives that swear by using a rolling pin on cellulite. They have none now (both in 50's and 60's).

I met a man who loves huge portions of food, and thought that I was the one who was weird eating so little. Then I started believing people who told me I could eat more and still maintain. That averaging under 1400 calories was "crazy" and "unnatural". That my weight would stabilize. Yeah. No. I also had fluctuations due…

Donate. If you are feeling extra generous include a small giftcard for the meat and veggies.

You will lose muscle as you lose fat so your lean body mass will change. I have an ideal waist measurement as a physical marker, my goal weight is just an estimate. The last time I was at the fitness level and overall look I really liked I was about 130. I don't think I will be able to reach that kind of muscle tone again…

Nope.

Adorable!

This made me laugh. I had this image of your arms suddenly flailing around, smacking the bowl, screaming "Not the HAGAN DAAS! NOT THE HAGAN DAAS!" Thanks for the chuckle.

http://www.truefitdogcoats.com/Whippet/ http://www.truefitdogcoats.com/Italian-Greyhound/ http://www.truefitdogcoats.com/Greyhound/ There are also breed specific cuts on coats depending on your dog's size. A friend has a coat from this manufacturer for her great dane and it fits perfectly.

We have one of these (harness goes over coat) http://www.chillydogs.ca/index.php/product/index/30. My dog (Havanese) gets a shaved body, to deal with indoor overheating, but keeps her head fur. Your whippet might enjoy http://www.chillydogs.ca/index.php/product/index/41. If you are crafty it looks pretty simple to make. We…

I eat "treats" all the time...daily even...and find it helps keep me on track. I'll eat a small portion and not feel the need to go back for more because there is always tomorrow, and the next day, and the next. It's not my last sweet treat, it's just one of many. I should also mention I despise icing and pie crust so my…

Frozen fruit, pickled veggies, popcorn, cheese and crackers, salad with cheese, small can of tuna, bran buds (I know I'm weird, but I love them), bags of fresh veggies, oatmeal date cookies, frozen popsicles (homemade with fruit and yogurt, coffee, etc.), soups, not all office/commute friendly

It's not about the calories for me. I use exercise to deal with the pain so I usually have a significant calorie deficit. It's about the nutrition, or nutrient make up. If I eat straight chocolate (especially milk chocolate) I keep going back again and again and it really mess up my blood sugar. If I have the avocado…

The rules you stated were pretty normal. This would be if the child had a special snowflake complex. If the 2 year old's parent lets some kids play with the toys in the order they want, ie. "you $%@*()& fat %^&* I always use the elliptical after the treadmill, GET OFF THE MACHINE", and others have to use something else.…

Calories in vs. Calories out is barring any health issues. Carbs do store a bit of water so that could be what you saw in which case it will stop soon, you may have a body that is slightly quirky and it is a bit over zealous about processing carbs. Calories into body and calories out of body always works. Or maybe you are…

How are your biotin levels? Have you had your stomach acid levels checked? Low levels of either can lead to hair loss, and low stomach acid is actually fairly common. ETA: You might consider adding some more fat to your diet. I scanned your food diary and you tend to stay under. If that is a long term trend your hair,…

You can also feed what your body is craving using healthier food. There are many charts that will help you match your cravings to healthier alternatives. You can use those to help target your personal cravings. When I am craving chocolate for example I mash an avocado with cocoa powder and add some raw powdered sugar (not…

Camping. I use my scale to cook too, grams instead of cups for flour for example, so it was useful as well as comforting.

Most people I know aren't usually reluctant to go to the gym, but they are reluctant to go BACK to the gym. People can be down right vicious at the gym, screaming at people who don't understand the unwritten rules, or didn't see the small post it in the bottom corner of the message board under the sign up sheet for super…

Honestly, losing weight does nothing for my self esteem. I gain nothing except access to my old clothes and more flexibility. (I'm short waisted and put my weight on around my tummy so fat hinders my bendiness).

An English Saddle, it's for my horse, but it's my goal item.

I'm a woman. I don't see anything wrong with watching a video of someone you find attractive doing a kick *kitten* routine so you can do it too when you are healthy/fit enough. Seems sensible to me.

Your doctor should have given you a prescription. Cheaper and better quality. Some people are just hungrier for whatever reasons, but you need to plan for the day you have to do this unmedicated. I know you are only asking about diet pills, but I hope you are also consulting a dietitian specializing in these sorts of issue.

I'll distill it down for you. Barring preexisting medical conditions and/or other issues it is simple calories in vs. calories out. So make a lifestyle you like and then live it within your "budget". Start with TDEE. I have found TDEE to be pretty close to accurate for most people, and TDEE - 20% works for most people. I…

^^^Exactly this. It's habit now. I've spent most of my life counting calories, like I have spent most of my life knowing my exact bank balance.

Thank you everyone for the suggestions and photos. I checked kijiji and there is nothing available right now that looks like it is in good condition. When I head into the city I will see what they have available there =)
