Feeling down lately and slipping too and stumbled upon your post. Maybe we can encourage each other. I think that's what these boards are for. We have a weekly date night at our favorite Mexican place. I am not giving it up even if I go over. I have tried ordering "healthier" things and count out my chips. I have asked them to give me grilled veggies instead of the rice and beans and that has been yummy. It's the darn margaritas that put me over!

I find it's too hard for me to give up bread and to help reduce calories I have been using our store brand 40 cal/slice bread for toast and sandwiches.

Thank you. I thought I had done this before...but this time I actually saw something show up on my diary when it counted my steps and it said -320 which doesn't make sense to me. I'd think it would be positive if it is adding your steps.

Have you been on Weight Watchers? I have been a former weight watcher member and they currently say fruits and vegetables are "free". It is a hard mindset to change and I don't eat as many fruits and vegetables as I used to since I now "count" them. But, I agree any calories add up.

I liked what someone said about it being "life." I struggle with it being just the right circumstances to lose weight and then life gets in the way..which it always will. So, I am telling myself to do the best I can each and every day and not to give up which I have done in the past.
