  • Looking great, so proud of you.
  • I eat these fiber one 90 calorie brownies and they have a lot of fiber but one time when I was on a cheat day I decided to eat the whole box of them, there was 7 of them in there....BIG MISTAKE.....I could have rocketed myself to the moon that night and for the next 12 hours. Having one or two a day can help the flow of…

  • Just a note There is very little regulation on supplements because our lovely congress loves taking money from the industry, and a lot of these companies are run by some pretty shady people. So stay far away from thermogenic supplements. There is some research showing that they work, but they pose a great risk to your…
  • Sound like its time for some weight training and intense cardio like P90 or similar. Once you get as small as you are getting those last few pounds off seem to be a real hassle, but it can be done if you work hard.
  • Sorry to hear about your parents and your ex, those kind of situations are never easy and I can only imagine the pain they caused you. I am glad you finally found someone who deserves you. And congrats on the weight loss so far!
  • Thank you so much, I truly appreciate it!
  • Thanks so much for the kind words and congrats on your amazing loss. I still have probably 180lbs to go but I know that I can do it now and it helps having some great people here for support.
  • Almost no one can accurately gauge the calories they take in per day (without tracking) unless you constantly eat the same thing. There are diets that do not require calorie counting but they are the kind of diets that are hard to stay on and most people just end up failing and regaining the weight. Also remember that you…
  • That sounds pretty spot on to me. You are very tiny so you are not gonna burn a lot per hour. I do a 30minute cardio MMA workout and at 400lbs I only burn around 250 calories. So with as little as you weigh that number sounds fairly accurate.
  • More muscle gives you a faster metabolism so weight training is good, but calorie deficit is the most important thing to losing weight. Just note that if doing a lot of weight training you may see some weight gain because muscle weighs more and you retain more water while lifting to help repair and build the muscle.
  • I have quite a large FUPA, its way smaller now and getting smaller as I go, but lets just say in my current state any "activity" is not easily done, not that anyone would be. I sure hope that its goes away when I lose my last 180lbs. Its an embarrassing situation and keeps many people from even attempting a relationship…
  • I started at 538 so seeing a visible difference took a while, sure I felt better within a few weeks but I really didn't notice any difference until I had lost more then 50lbs. Soon after other people started to notice. Might have taken others longer to notice because all my clothes were baggy. Just know that you body…
  • When you are just starting out you should prepare for some sluggishness at first. All the abuse that it took to get to your weight does not go away quickly and when you start exercising your body is not gonna be happy. I can tell you that it may last a few weeks but once you break the wall by maintaining your routine and…
  • Fitbit all the way.
  • I lost my first 50lbs by simply just calorie counting. Now I did cut out fast food, but besides that I let myself eat anything that I wanted so long as I stayed with my deficit. Once I lost that first fifty pounds I began slowly weening myself off all the bad stuff. I stopped consuming soda, corn syrup, and by in large…
  • They have a sun-dried tomato one as well that is decent.
  • I have used it since the first day it came out. Is a nice way to stay motivated.
  • I am in Indiana. Grew up just north of Muncie. Please add me to your friends list. Would love to have some local friends.

  • I just went through a month long plateau and I broke it by taking two days off and eating like a pig. I didn't go too crazy, was probably more then 1500 calories over my daily limit each day. On the third day I went right back to what I was doing. By the end of that week I had lost 4 pounds. Some people say that changing…
  • Very awesome sir! Amazing job you should be proud.
  • Awesome job girl, you are looking great!
  • Was at an amusement park and my large legs and thighs made it near impossible to get out of a ride. Was quite embarrassing. Never went to an amusement park after that. It happened in 1995.
  • Wow, thanks again everyone for all the kind words, I would love to reply to all of you but I might never see daylight again. All I wanted to do was share my thoughts on a question and I don't think I had any idea how many people would relate to my situation. Felt good to get it out and I hope that others will be willing to…
  • Just so you know most people will not remark on someones weight loss because they may consider it rude, unless they are a close friend. Just human nature for many people. 22 Pounds is enough weight lost that there will be a difference but remember that if you want to lose more you need to do this for yourself and not…
  • I can relate my friend. After losing a lot of weight i can tell you that these plateaus do happen sometimes and you just have to work through them. I have had success breaking the stalls by doing a 36 hour fast, but I would not recommend unless you have free time because you will get really weak after about 16 hours. There…

  • I am so sorry to hear about your daughters. Even though I had a great loss I can't imagine losing two daughters. Just being able to keep on going is testament to how strong you must be, and I know how hard that can be on a mother. I saw my sister suffer so much after my niece died. She had a strong group of friends around…
  • A few people have asked to see some images of my loss so far so here it is, the girl in the picture is my new niece Ella. She is much bigger now.
  • No problem man, but I think what you miss is the fact that human beings don't just eat 10k calories a day and make themselves miserable for no reason. I encourage you to read the post again. I don't blame my parents or anyone else for my weight gain. I used food as a substitute for affection and it was wrong to do that,…
  • Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for all the kind words for my post. I can tell that opening up has never been easy for me as I have been a solitary person for most my life. I truly appreciate you all. I have spent that last year plus reading all your stories and they have kept me going each and every day. Thank You!
  • I am not sure why you feel the need to try and tear people down, usually that is the sign of a person with severe emotional problems. People lash out because of their doubts about themselves. Hell I know because I have done it myself. If you read my story instead of skimming you would know that even though at one point I…
