1st thing in the morning....I have been up to 6 lbs heavier the same night between all of the food and liquids I have consumed I would imagine)
-
I really do not know, I have always been fat, I remember the kids teasing me in 1st grade calling me Miss Piggy....I really packed on the pounds as an adult having worked in convenience stores for over 13 years with free soda all day, every day...One day I figured it out and I was averaging at least a gallon of Pepsi a day…
-
When someone I knew but hadn't seen for awhile asked me when I was due.....that hurt cause I was not pregnant.
-
So awesome!!!! All that hard work really paid off!

foods can lose quite a bit of their water weight in cooking, so to get an accurate calorie count, it is best to weigh them raw. I did a bit of questioning myself on this subject.
-
I found that I have not been cooking any large chunks of meat and I weight each piece before cooking, that way I know what I am getting and the family just has to eat more than one piece if they want more than 4oz....That way I can cook the same meal for everyone.

chocolate syrup, whole milk, tons of butter and left overs from the rest of my family's meals, I have to cook 2 meals a night as I am in this fight on my own as far as home goes.
-
I keep an apple or banana in my bag just in case.....Unfortunately that is a new thing, chips and crackers are my major downfall.

From??? England, Montana, Indiana, Crete, Colorado, Michigan and currently in Wyoming and plan on staying here. (I am a military brat)

Cheerios....

Fish...... I HATE any kind of fish, wish I liked it, it is so very good for you.
-
With chasing after children, I would definitely not say you are sedentary.
-
I have NEVER been thin but have been on a weight yo yo my entire life. That is why this time, I am trying to teach myself a new lifestyle when it comes to eating, something I can stick to for the long haul except that maybe one day, I will be able to have a little larger portions.
-
It makes me sad to hear that, but I think you are in the right place. Feel free to add me as a friend if you like...We are all fighting the very same battle. Good luck.
-
That looks yummy

I am a sucker for anything salty and crunchy and cheese, or gobs of cheese smothering something salty and crunchy.....mmmmmm
-
welcome. I have only been here for about a month this time but I feel this is a great site to get the information and support that is so much needed in this battle. I hope you find it just as helpful. Feel free to add me as a friend if you would like.

I am in the process also, I have tried many times in the past to quit and never made it longer than 6 weeks. The beginning of April I got myself a vapor pen and started on 18mg liquid, I am down to 3mg at this time and hoping to be done with it all very soon. The good thing about it is that I have not touched a cigarette…

yeah, that is kind of what I was trying to figure out, figured if I set it to sedentary and then logged everything I did for a day then I could decide between lightly active and active....just totally shocked me that it came back subtracting calories rather than adding them. Guess I will just set to lightly active and go…
-
OK, I think that makes some sense...Gonna have to go play around with my settings a bit and see what happens. Thanks.
-
Are you taking measurements? This happened to me once, many years ago. I got into weight training for about 4 years and ended heavier than when I started but this is because although I had burned fat, I had gained muscle which weighs more than fat. You may gain weight while losing fat.
-
Oh, itsthenewheal, that is a WONDERFUL idea, I may have to try that. I am tired of feeling like I am depriving myself of all of the salty crunchy foods that I so love.
-
Having thought about it more and having been a cashier for about 12 or 13 years(convenience stores), I would personally go with active, you can always lower it to lightly active later if you need.
-
Cashier work can be physically demanding at times, depending on your job. Are you stocking coolers and tossing around cases of soda and things, or do you just stand behind a register. I have putting a lot of thought into this also as I cannot decide on my activity level either.
-
I know exactly how you feel.

Funny but gross......I worked fast food years ago and if something was dropped on the floor, it was fried and served anyway because the attitude was that if anything had gotten on the food, the hot grease would kill it right?...........Gross things happen to food everywhere, even during production so if we are afraid to…
