I call it the "TNDO (take no day off) 30-Day Challenge". It's just an idea I had to force myself into a habit or routine of exercising regularly. They say 3-4 weeks doing something every day it will just become second nature and u won't even have to force yourself to do it anymore. To test this theory I vowed to go out of…

3 week weigh in results were another 5.6 lbs lost. 18.2 total.

You got this man, if you're in the same boat I guarantee you could be looking back 3 weeks from now amazed at the mental adjustments you've made by doing nothing but PROVING to yourself you can be a champion and stick to your commitment. At first it was a mile a day creeping along at 2.0 on the treadmill....nothing too…

Thank you! Definitely worth pushing myself when I didn't want to

thank you! "people like you" made me chuckle, not sure ive ever been grouped in the crowd on the right side of fitness before. "people like you" used to mean 'those ppl that eat all the time and never do anything active"

hey! thank you... assuming that means you subscribed, appreciated. friends, family, and strangers alike can all inspire me to keep moving forward.

thank you for your concern, however when doing a 20 minute walk and 15 minutes on a bike, this isnt exactly a workout that burns you out.....this is just simply being active and getting your heart rate up every day. this is more about the formation of a habit and a lifestyle than doing some extreme workout. 90 days in a…

thanks man, rest days arent that big of a deal at the level of exercise im doing. right now im walking a mile on 3.0 speed and biking for maybe 15 minutes or so. the 23 hours between exercise is plenty of rest for that kind of workout. maybe when im on a weight lifting routine or something i'll put some more consideration…

I'm perfectly aware of what it is. And the fact that there's anything to be aware of and overcome by definition makes it an obstacle to overcome. Don't presume to understand the intricacies of others struggles on here. There are no excuses going on here. However you want to label it its still beatable and doesnt force us…

No offense taken. I manage pretty well these days. When you want nothing more than to do one thing but still feel this overwhelming urge to pointlessly sabotage it, that's not normal. Unless someone has suffered from this they don't understand.

I really really like this post OP. however I will state one exception. This concept could be very difficult to people who suffer from compulsive eating disorder or a food addiction. That's like telling an alcoholic that a swig here and there won't hurt, next thing you know they chugged the whole bottle. Being one who tends…

Yeah it's a TNDO (take no day off) 30-Day challenge as I'm calling it. Considering making it more than 30 now though

Congrats on forming such a great habit though! I was very consistent and thorough in calorie tracking for a period of time but for me it wasn't the secret. Was very educational in learning nutrition though. Perhaps I will start again some time in the future. Today was my 21st straight day exercising of my 30 day…

It has been a bit of a stretch, but its actually very liberating "coming out" to the world and declaring what you're doing. First time I have ever been this successful, in the past its always kind of been an under the radar weight loss attempt. I have people I barely know subscribed and on Facebook asking me how it's going…

Quite a while since I originally posted this. Very good concept of calorie tracking through the accountant mindset. Recent research though has me thinking the 1,000 calorie deficit rule applies more to those less overweight. Big guys like me can have a bigger deficit without your bodies freaking out, as long as we are…

Good stuff. YouTube and Facebook feedback are biggest follower motivation right now. . I'm actually connected with Richard Neal through beach body, we talk a few times a week.
