Wow this was a long time ago. I'm still getting PMs from it glad it's helping things make sense for some people. I'm a perfect example of knowing what to do isn't a magic pill. I Still haven't applied it all consistently enough in my life to get to my goals. #discipline

Focusing on my State of Mind. We all have an eye gate and an ear gate (eyes and ears) which every minute we are awake accept input from the world around us. If success of my goal is like driving in a car down a highway in a straight line, there are things EVERY day usually dozens or hundreds of times a day that come in…

You might also like the book "slight edge". i consider this to be the master key to pretty much any type of success in anything you want to do. it just talks about making small daily decisions (deposits & withdrawals) and how they ultimately shape your entire life. it's a very good read.

You don't know the things that make you feel good or bad about yourself? I think everyone knows these things about themselves. Even if it's just a list of things they wish they had the discipline to do or current habits they wish they could kick

It's a home style Italian buffet, and I've been really good lately and exercised a LOT. So I'm gonna be shooting for the "reasonable damage" area of treating myself. Nothing too stupid but maybe a slice of pizza some sherbet mashed potatoes etc

I guess the ANGER of feeling so controlled by this poison we love so much called junk food was enough to spur me into action. Like u said we all have our own path. I can't admit defeat and live my life around something controlling me like that.

I respect your bravery! Hiding so long I'm sure it took a TON of courage to face the world with no mask to protect you. Congratulations!!!

The harsh reality is that you're going to have to pick. Overcome your compulsive addiction to these foods OR be unhappy with your fitness forever. Coming from a compulsive eater who NEVER used to work out and lived to eat all those same foods, I struggle against those urges constantly. Once in a small while I allow myself…

What's going on Pete. Marc here. Step one is getting your mind right. Guys like us have so much to lose, it's prob never gonna happen just by brute force and willpower....gotta retrain your brain. For me, this meant a total shock to the system. Refer to some of my other posts about my 30 day exercise challenge. I have…

Very welcome. This idea has been very beneficial to me so hopefully it will help you. One disclaimer though, listen to your body, if you're exercising every day for a month you have to pace yourself. You can't do absolutely body rocking workouts every single day without a rest. This can be counterproductive. Another thing…

I'm a fan of glucosamine, it's great for your joints. I recommend an organic one with no synthetics your body will absorb it better. If you'd like details on what I use personally feel free to inbox me. I've had bad knees ever since football in high school
