Fantastic! :-) Those are 2 things I am looking forward to - having noticeably lost weight, and being fitter!

If I may suggest - make sure you log your exercise as well, just for a week. Then have a good look at the numbers - you'll have all your incoming and outgoing calories in one place, and if you're still stumped be brave and ask again for someone to look at it.

LOL My Dad is diabetic and he does love a bit of chocolate - and he does still eat it.

Politely decline with no explanation. I have known too many people who try to reason out any explanation and get things their way. Plus, that person sounds like an epic douche. Go have a cry, *kitten*, she doesn't want your chocolate - sheesh!

I too am bewildered by the bra hating. Someone mentioned MaxiDresses...hell yes, they are awful. If it's hot enough to wear a strappy maxi dress, I don't need all that *kitten* billowing around my legs!

I'm exhausted just reading that... oh look it's 9pm here... goodnight!

I'll bite... This is me the day I finished High School

Holy god, this GIF made me laugh sooooo much.... OP, you sound like my EX Sister In Law. She tried for years, and had a sudden 'aha' moment not long after her mother died quite suddenly. She realised she was wasting her life, and was so glad she hadn't fallen pregnant - though they were trying. She told him she was…

I have a fitbit One. So far it hasn't gone through the wash, but there have been mornings when I forgot to put it on as soon as I got up. I haven't worn it on the wristband for sleep tracking since day 2, because I know when I get up or wake through the night and why (toddlers!) I like it, because I like seeing the data…

I had full term twins (roughly 13lb of baby). I have some UH-MAZING stretch marks, but when I at the weight I want to reach, I will be wearing a bikini. Because I can. :-) You should too.

I don't know what else to say, other than to try and remember that SHE is projecting HER self image problems onto you. As your Mom, she is in a position of power (ie girls look to their Mothers for role modelling) and it is totally unfair. She probably doesn't know any better, and her Mother may have encouraged her to…

First time I had Ben & Jerry's my waters broke. It excited my babies so much they wanted to come out and check WTF this marvelous stuff is. THAT looks awesome.

Button down boob gap = a few stitches, or a hidden safety pin. Or bigger shirt. (for me, anyways)

I'm 5'9" (well, 175 cm anyway!) and I am shooting for 170 lb roughly. I have a big build, broad hips, big feet. Once I get there I will re-evaluate, but I do know I am quite happy with my body at that weight.

I would love to think I could let them fall and step out of them without breaking my stride, and never even blink.... They would have to be nicer undies though. The ones I have now are just embarrassing, I wouldn't own up to them. LOL
-
Totally understand. I'm 175 cm,and have lost almost the same amount as you. I *think* my clothes are fitting better, but then saw a photo of myself just the other day and it was just awful. I went from feeling positive and motivated to just crappy. I do have a fair bit to loose, though, so I try to keep it in perspective.…

Hummm, interesting responses so far. I appreciate you taking the time to comment honestly. I was not super fit or super thin pre babies, and the most arduous workout I was doing was the C25K, and some cycling. I actually have more tools and info at my disposal now than a few years back when I lost 60lb doing Weight…

Thank you! As another 5'10" mother who's decided enough is enough... thank you for the inspiration. :flowerforyou:

LMAO Yeah, the reviews are so worth it.

When i am at my ideal weight, I am 'happier' because I am more confident and less worried about how I look, and whether my pants are too tight. I wear clothes that accurately reflect my personality. I have a long term friend who lost 65kg and is as anxious, unsure and prone to depression as ever. I think she thought losing…

Commercial Motor Vehicle Insurance Claims adviser/Claims processor ... but currently a SAHM to twin girls. The whinging, dribble and poop flinging is about the same.

I do a similar recipe with 1/3 cup (or 30g quick oats), nuked with water, then cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and artifical sweetener. Then about 1/4 cup skim milk.

One of my babies, fighting with her trousers. Sums up my struggle at the mo'.

Hi ladies! :-D I'm Carly, i have 14 month old fraternal girls. Good to see other Mums are alive to tell the tale with older twins! No other babies, just the dog and the twins. :-) Husband got the snip as soon as the girls turned 6 months old, so no more on the horizon either! I'm in Australia. Nice to meet you all.

These stories are horrifying - but funny! When I was pregnant I had giant vomits in public a few times - the best one was on the train going home from work, so rather than spewing all over the carriage, I opened my backpack, took out anything precious, put them on the seat beside me and chocks away! I only had to make it…

That's an amazing change, well done! Inspirational. :-D
-
Wow, you've lost 19lb so far! That's awesome. :-D We have a similar amount to lose in total by the looks of your ticker. I have 2 x 14 mth old girls, I am here EVERY DAY. Add me if you like!

I always have a small piece of chocolate in the evening. I buy the 12 packs of mini Mars bars and put them in the freezer. They're about 86 cals each, and because we're on a tight budget they get metered out like gold, because once they're gone, they're gone until payday.
