You can make Campfire Bean and Rice Burritos ahead of time and wrap in foil. Later, just throw them on the grill or onto the edges of your campfire.

If I were you, I'd try only eating half of my exercise cals back, or none of them. I don't ever eat mine back ( if i exercise at all, lol) bc it defeats the main purpose of the exercise. I am at a plateau as well. I am nearly at my goal (5lbs to go), and I haven't lost in almost two months now. I have decided to switch my…

Daaammmn, Girl! You are lean!

LOL@my giant pic and that face I am making! I never noticed it in a smaller size viewing window. HA!

I am 5 eight and a half, with a large frame (7" wrists and wide shoulders) and this pic is me at 138. I looked thin at 150 in high school, but I am just not that muscular in my late 30's, so when I hit 150 this time, I was still fat, so I kept going. I look SAF (skinny as ****) at 138ish, but I am surprised by the fact…

Dude, your face! You went from attractive to HOLY****SHE'SPRETTY! I know that isn't the most important thing, but- holy ****.

I like it when people hang them on the wall and make them part of the decor. Like this, which is just a mount made out of pvc pipe: http://www.etsy.com/listing/116102565/wall-bike-rack-hanging-display-unpainted Here's a link showing bikes on the wall in a nicely decorated space. They add to the decor rather than junk it up…

Exactly. I know a girl who never did get her eating under control after her lap-band surgery. She is still fat and she eats crap, then runs to the bathroom in a panic bc the nausea and diarrhea hit her almost immediately after consuming junk foods. She is always going to the doc to have more MRI's and tests bc she is in so…

Regular yogurt doesn't have the same amount of probiotics, unfortunately. To those saying the can't find Lifeway- they sell it at ALDI.

I like it, but wish I could find it unsweetened. It's so sugary. I drink 1/3 of a cup of it, in small sips throughout the day to help with heartburn. It seems to work, but I can't say for sure, as I started Apple Cider Vin at the same time for the same reason. From what I have read, small amounts throughout the day is the…

It sounds like your goals are reasonable. 11 lbs so far is not a small accomplishment and you should feel very proud and excited about having such a great new outlook. People here are really doing this. It's a wonderful community. I think you have the right mindset. Because my priority right now is to eat a lot, I eschew…

I highly rec spending time each morning and throughout the day feeding your brain success stories and before/after pictures on these boards. It helps keep it in the forefront of your mind that THIS WORKS! You'll see how many people are succeeding and accomplishing amazing changes. You will realize you can do it too.

Make sure they are the Old Navy Sweetheart ones, specifically. They run really big, so if you order online, get a size or even two sizes smaller than you normally wear. I used to love these jeans back when i had an *kitten*, lol. They are only twenty bucks, too. Can't beat them.

You are cracking me up.

Yes! I tried eating meat again. I don't have moral qualms about it as long as it is ethically raised. But it was so disgusting! I bought a rotisserie chicken and deboned it, then couldn't eat it. I still get grossed out thinking about all that skin, slime and connective tissue. Aren't you worried about your protein intake…

Crazy times! I am trying to figure out how to do low-carb, low-cal while vegetarian and I can't seem to do it without protein shakes.I feel averse to eating all that fat too- even though I know in my head that it is ok. I am doing well at keeping my grains and starches down, but my sugars are high bc of my fruit intake.…

I have always gone by the guideline- 100 lbs for the first five feet of height, then five more lbs for every inch over five feet. It seems accurate to me, within a ten lb range to account for different frame sizes. I think we have all just gotten used to people with more padding. Our bodies are meant to be lean. (not…

I agree. There is not a way to spot reduce, and the first-on, last-ff rule means you'll lose weight in your thighs last of all. I am 5'8.5" and about 140, large frame. I am hourglass, I have those v lines on my abdomen and no boobs left to speak of...but my thighs and *kitten* STILL have excess fat on them. My plan is to…

Lotion won't do anything. You both need to be on a weightlifting program to avoid losing muscle along with fat. that is the only thing you can do to avoid loose skin. You won't be able to avoid it completely, unless you are some genetic wonder, but you can make your overall appearance less jiggly if you are weight…

I like to mist two small corn tortillas with evo spray and then bake them until crispy, and top each with 1/4 cup of fat-free refried beans. You can then add tomatoes and lettuce or whatever. It seems like a lot of chewing, and it looks big on a plate, both things that I like, and is only 200 calories. ETA: I happened to…

This is a good article that explains 40/30/30 and also, carb cycling: http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/wescott4.htm Carb cycling might work better for you bc it gives you days where you can eat pretty many. I'd love to eat paleo, but can't quite figure out how to do so as a vegetarian. It would pretty much be what I eat…

You are lucky. Your apple shape and the first-on, last-off rule means that you will likely get to keep all the bewbs. ETA- i am assuming you are apple shaped bc you mentioned your stomach as being your trouble area.

Dude, I would have guessed a 20-25 lb diff in those pictures. I would say stop eating back the exercise calories, but that's just me. Or try going to a Zone type macro plan- 40/30/30 I can't say I know much about it, since I just started looking into it out of a desire to cut carbs, and to build muscle. It seems to be what…

Are you saying you didn't lose weight between left and right pics? Bc you clearly lost a whole bunch, right?

I wondered this last week and researched it. Your best bet is bodpod.com to find a location near you for BodPod measurement, which is one of the most accurate tests. It is really cool, but too expensive for me ($75).

Agreed. I just watched a doc called America the Beautiful 2, and the whole thing was about how even simple thinness is unobtainable by over 50% of us. The director, Darryl Roberts, seems to have made the whole film to justify his own sloppy, fast-food physique. Half of the movie was shots of him making faces as he tasted…

I recommend Alli if you like pooping your pants at work and not even realizing you've pooped them, bc you are ****ting oil and water. Not that this even happened to me...

That was pretty f*cking funny.

I love ALDI. Besides being great for having low prices on produce I could not otherwise afford, they pay their workers waaaaay better than any other chain, and offer health benefits and vacation time to part-time employees. I like supporting companies that treat their employees well.

I do this. I eat between 200 and 300 cals a mini-meal. I like it bc I always am getting to eat something and bc my stomach doesn't get super full all. This has led to my actual stomach shrinking and me feeling full with less food. It does require a lot of food prep though. I feel like I am always chopping vegetables, but…
