You finish making your peanut butter and jelly sandwich (peanut butter and jelly, perfectly measured, of course) and then you go to lick your spoon, but then you think "wait, I don't think I measured the peanut butter and jelly stuck to this spoon," and then you toss the spoon in the sink.

always good to see success pics of an asian-bro. great job!

The title is a little inaccurate. "I saw me like you see me" isn't really true. The way you see yourself after a picture or video taping is compared in your brain with how you perceive yourself. Unfortunately, there are two problems with this. The first is that our brain is always wrong about the way we usually present…

There are tons of things you can do at home. If you have an android phone, I am currently using the app called "7 Minute Workout" by mphan. I modify the exercises a little bit to suit my needs, for example, I don't do side planks (yet) since they are a bit difficult for me at the moment. I'm also thinking of switching out…

Seems kind of abnormal... but they need to be compared to what you would consider "normal" before you started getting a change in BM. Everyone is a little different. More fiber and water would probably help you if you think you're not getting enough of those.

@batty 31 My age has already been guessed, so don't guess mine

I know you already mentioned chicken, but chicken can be prepared in plenty of different ways. Slow cooked stew, fried, baked, all taste a little different. Ground turkey burgers have been a recent fulfilling food of mine.

I was thinking this morning of how much I loved to eat at these two Chinese buffet restaurants in my city. Chinese food has always been my favorite, but I know it wasn't good to eat there multiple times a week. Haven't had any Chinese food for at least two months haha, but I feel fine with that now. Less pangs of hunger…

I have high blood pressure, so I should have a sodium intake of < 1,500mg per day. In reality, it's usually between 1500 and 2000 mg per day, but its better than what it was before I started tracking.

I have the Garmin Forerunner 405. I got it when it was on sale. I think the HR monitoring is pretty accurate, has gps, has some watch features that I never use too. The syncing of data to the computer is kind of a hassle to get started, but it does show you a lot of good data once you get it going. I also don't like how…

How do you feel on your current diet and exercise regimen? Do you usually feel hungry/weak most of the day or do you usually feel full with good energy levels? I think if you feel hungry/weak then you should increase your calories a little bit (although 700 Calorie increase seems too much), but if you feel full and good…

Everyone already beat me to the punch about the body weight fitness. I think for beginners who aren't packing a lot of muscle to begin with, body weight fitness is the easiest way to go. Just push yourself as much as you can, within safe limits, every other day and your muscles should grow just as they would at a…

I weigh myself almost everyday but I only record it when it goes down lol. But I think now I'm going to start recording no matter what again, just because I want the best data.

I use the lowest level as well, and if I do any exercises at all then I'll add them in manually. I do a lot of sitting around most of the day anyhow.

Wow! Inspirational!

Add me if you want! I'll try and give you you a pat on the back if you do good, and yell if you dont :P

yep, definitely doable. will take some work though, but one day at a time like the man says, best wishes!

I feel ya! I definitely know that "comfortable" feeling, but sometimes, comfort is the enemy! I mean, yeah it feels good to lay around and fill your stomach, but you'll start growing in the wrong direction. You kick it up a notch, work on it day by day, and you might not feel comfortable everyday, but you'll probably end…

calories in = calories out. The hard part is figuring out the calories out (how much your body truly burns), but MFP does a fairly good job estimating for you I think. Best way is to track yourself and see what works for ya, good luck!

I like to see hard working people, anyone can add me! :)

It's a way of putting the topic back to the top of the forum list. Some people have said it means "bring up my post," meaning to bring up the post back to the top of the list. But really, it just means bumping the topic back up the list :p

25 checking in =) Add me if you're motivated and are working for progress! I think it would be cool to see a lot of people all achieving their goals at once lol =)

I believe in the calories in/calories out theory of weight loss. So I just monitor my calories as much as possible, and if I feel like I've done more exercise than normal, then I will eat them back because I want to lose weight at a certain rate. It's hard to estimate each day exactly how many calories you're burning, but…

It's all in your mind. You said yourself, you're losing weight, so you can't possibly be fatter! Plus your before and after pic obviously shows you've lost some weight (although I don't think you look really fat before hand anyway). Be careful of developing an eating disorder or body dysmorphic disorder, just think about…
