I joined My Fitness Pal in May of 2013 and have lost 30 lbs. I'm averaging 1.5 lbs. per week even though my goals are 1200 calories per day and 2 lbs a week. My startegy is not to stress out and remember I might ahve a bad day here and there. My motto' "Slow and Steady"

That's great! Wonderful job. What a great feeling. I'm only at 30 lbs myself and when I started to bring out my winter clothes, I couldn't believe how much difference that was. Your pictures are an inspiration.

I'm fat....... well to be totally honest, because I was lazy, made bad habits and didn't care. Much better now that I've been doing this since may. Forced me to become disciplined and structured; which is exactly what I needed.

I've recently had this same issue. I will have to agree with some of the previous posts. I did get the headaches. It was pretty bad when I tried to do it cold turkey. If I am really craving something enough to "cheat" I get the smallest portion possible. In the past, if I am really craving fast food, (Chick fila for example) I'll get a kids meal to satisfy the cravings. For me, it works this way to get the smallest portion of the craving.
