What do drug riddled minds have to do with it??

I wouldn't stop, just change my focus. Start eating more and weightlifting to put on some more muscle. It will raise your metabolism AND make you more confident in your body

I think this would work only because as adults we lose the idea of fun physical activities. If you want to lose weight do what a 10 year old does (those who have not been over exposed to TV and games that is!). Its all about moving and having fun. I don't think it has to be spinning in particular. I've started spinning,…

yes! I started using it a few years ago and after a week or so I started getting a really itchy reaction in my mouth. I couldn't figure out what it was until I ran out and started using sugar in my coffee again and it went away. I am allergic to a lot of foods though so it is typical for me to be allergic to something…

So ladies I took my measurements today. Yesterday was my first day after the challenge so I celebrated with wine, dark chocolate and lamb bhuna. So these might not be totally accurate. Weight lost - 11.2 lbs Inches lost - 7 inches. (3 on the waist)

I breastfed both my kids, one till he was two and the other till 14 months but I didn't eat this way then so I can't really comment but I think in a situation like this you know what your body needs so make the exception but still do the rest of the challenge. It's not cheating if your baby needs it.

I did take measurements and weights. I checked my weight this morning and I lost 11 lbs but I still have to measure. maybe tomorrow morning I will get a chance. I know I lost inches though as I now fit into my old size 8's and I was a very comfortable 10 / 12 last month. Seriously - this was the best thing I have done.

Can I join. I just finished the whole 30 challenge yesterday (YAY) but am planning to continue eating this way, except I will add the occassional glass of wine. I loved this challenge! I feel amazing.

lol I knew as soon as Taso came up in my newsfeed I had to check out his cheeky comment!

I just finished a 30 day Paleo challenge and LOVED IT. I lost 11 lbs and feel fantastic. My sleep has improved greatly, despite two wee ones who like to wake me up at night and I no longer get the mid afternoon slumps. I eat loads of veggies, some fruit and meat. It's great. The challenge ended yesterday but I am not going…

HI! My husband is from the UK. We met while I was backpacking around Europe 11 years ago and moved here when we got married (Calgary, Alberta). We go back and forth a lot though and his family has been over many times. First off - Why February? Are you wanting to expose yourself to the worst weather to see if you can…

I was travelling around Europe and had just taken a job in the Scottish Highlands. I went to Edinburgh for my weekend off and my hubby was the night security at the hostel I stayed at. We hit it off and he called me the following week to see if I'd come back to town. 3 weeks later I chucked in the job and moved into the…

My kids are past that stage but I breastfed my first till he turned 2 and my second until I was forced to wean him at about 14 months. (I had some health issues and had no choice but to take some medication that I couldn't breastfeed on. Poor wee guy took it really hard going from 4 feed a day to none just overnight). We…

Fantastic! That must feel so good!

K- so this post is old but i wanted to bump it forward because after reading this I contacted Steve and after discussing a bunch of things I decided to try a 30 day challenge he directed me to. Well today is my last day. I have lost 11 lbs! 11 lbs! after months of .4, .2, +1 etc etc. He is right. THIS does work! I have him…

lol - that is awesome. I am going to try that. We don't spank although there have been a fe times I have been so furious I have given my son a swat on the arm. Never hard though - just to grab his attention. I was spanked as a child so don't really have a problem with it for serious issues but my husband wasn't so doesn't…

Definitely reduce carbs but also try to eliminate the processed foods. Those BBQ corn chips are 300 calories that barely fill your stomach whereas if you replaced them with lean chicken and greens you could have a whole meal instead. MFP carb goals are very very high. Good luck! I love BBQ anything (especially old dutch…

ummm, sorry to get involved but Ireland doubled it's population because people were actually living long enough to survive childhood and childbirth. The potato allowed them to live that long but it didn't keep them from slowly starving themselves due to lack of nutrients. That was why they started creating foods like Dulce…

I breastfed both my kids till they were past 1 year old. I didn't count my calories while doing that at all but just focused on eating mostly clean, non processed foods. Protein and fat are very important when you are breastfeeding a baby exclusively. With my first I got to 10 below my pre-pregnancy weight withi 6 months.…

Cut it out completely. For at least a month to get over your cravings and then you can re-evaluate at that point how you feel and how much you want to add back in. I recently started a 30 day challenge which completely cut out grains and added sugar and I still have 75 - 100 g of carbohydrates a day just from fruit and veg.

Thanks for this! I have a question about BCAA's - what are they? where do you get them and what do they do? :-) I have heard the term before but am not familiar with them.
-
Me too. Can't drink the work coffee it is TERRIBLE so I end up making my own at home. Has to be fresh ground beans :-) Used to add milk and sugar but now it's black and I love it!

lol this thread is hilarious!

Clean eating Magazine does 2 week menu's with shopping lists. Or I also use one called Cook once, eat healthy all week and not only does it have shopping lists but the instructions are set up to cook 5 meals in one day as efficiently as possible. Its great!

yes yes yes and yes :-)
